Ruby Khate

"You're doing it the wrong way."

"Then hold my hand and teach me."

Ruby sighed and shook her head at the sight of Sid cutely begging for Silvermist to teach her a certain technique. His partner is Bryce. He could've just asks him but his lame excuse is that Bryce doesn't know it, which obviously a lie because that is Bryce's specialty. Gusto niya lang na si Silvermist ang magturo sakaniya and since it's her responsibility to train them, wala siyang magagawa kun'di turuan ito.

Ruby stayed and waiting for Silvermist to be free para magpatulong maghanap ng herbs sa greenhouse dahil hirap niya itong hanapin. It's the last ingredient for her to finish her experiment to make a medicine made by her – a medicine to heal a wound faster.

As the healer of the team, she has two separate trainings in one day. Ruby's a healer but it doesn't mean that she'll only focus on how to experiment and make medicines. She's also required to train physically just like the other members to at least fight back and defend herself.

"Like this?"

"No. Like this..."

They are talking to each other intensely at mararamdaman mo ito kahit pinapanuod mo lang sila mula sa malayo.

When Ruby's starting to get curious, Silvermist showed up behind her who's also looking at them. "They need time to get along, but it will not be easy."

Ruby just nodded and looked at the two again, parting their ways like nothing happened, like they didn't talk to each other. She stared at Yael's back when an idea strikes her.

"Hey, didn't you tell me that Yael's also a member of a special force, just like you?" She asked Silvermist.

"Wa-wa-wait... you're a Prime Preserver?"

"Are you dumb? Only a Prime Preserver can be a trainer of the star members," Sulpot naman ni Bryce sabay kuha sa relo na nasa mesa. "I forgot this," Wika nito at umalis na ulit.

"That's right. Why?" Tanong nito pabalik.

Ruby smiled and stood up. "Focus on Sid. I'll just ask Yael for help with the herb. See you later!" She said and rushed towards the double door, leaving the two alone inside.

"THANK YOU, RUBY! YOU'RE THE BEST!"

The reason why she's asking for Silvermist's help in the first place is that she has knowledge not just for battles, but also for medicine and different kind of poisons. It's one of the major requirements to become a special force, so she is sure that Yael can help her.

Hera Salvatore

Through outside of her office window, she stood there and watched how Terrence and Liliana enjoyed riding horses together. It's a rare sight to see her doing the things she likes with someone.

Hera knows her daughter well. She has lots of acquaintances but doesn't have a group of friends she can bond with, though Hera knows that doesn't mean she don't want to. It's just that people don't make an effort and will just leave her hanging 'til she got used to it, so she doesn't get surprised anymore if someone loses interest and leave.

She will only get surprised if someone chooses to stay and that is what Hera wants for her – someone who will respect and accept her for who she is, what she is, and what she has without questioning anything.

Somehow, she knew that this will going to happen sooner or later, that Terrence and Liliana will get along because they both have the same personality and the way they view life in their own different and unique way.

The first time Hera met Terrence, parang nakita niya ang anak dito. He resembles Liliana so much. It's like she met a male version of her. That amazes her and thought that maybe Liliana needs someone just like him, someone who understands her because they both know the feeling of this and that. They are misunderstood by the way they act and talk, unlike the other star members that are like open books.

Terrence and Liliana are like a book with a cover filled with grey and black but once you open it willingly, you will see beautiful colors you never thought you would see. It's so much more. They're so much more.

Hera prayed that what they're doing and what they have now will last long, forever if possible and that they will learn the value of a relationship. Not only the two of them but all of the star members.

Star camp is not all about abilities, skills, being in a team, battles, doing missions, winning, or losing. It's also about building a relationship together and helping each other grow to be the best version of themselves in order to fight as one. In that way, there's no doubt their weaknesses will affect them, dahil mangingibabaw at mangingibabaw parin ang lakas at tiwala nila sa isa't-isa.

But only if they'll just see the bigger picture, Liliana does not belong to their team. She is born to be the next Headmistress of the star camp. She can't just act carelessly and risk her life.

Liliana is so stubborn... just like her Father.

Azura knocked on the door and came in, interrupting her thoughts. She went back to her chair and faced her. "How's the new girl?" She asked.

"She's coming from the Fire Village. I'll make sure she'll get here tomorrow morning."
