Chapter 16 - First Mission

Liliana Vivian Salvatore

"Whoa. You look exactly like me!"

Liliana watched how Luca transformed himself into her and can even imitate her voice. He shifted himself back and laughed with her.

"Your special ability is so cool, Luca."

"Yours is cooler, ate."

She sheepishly smiled. "Not really."

Silang dalawa ang huling natapos mag-training kaya sila ang huling natira sa training room. She doesn't mind giving her time to Luca because she sees him as her younger brother, so she gave her best to teach him all the techniques she knows.

Naging mas malapit sila nitong mga nakaraang araw. They became each other's gum and the other members couldn't believe him, especially Freya, dahil si Liliana lang ang tinatawag niyang ate sakanila.

They're still laughing when they heard a knock on the door so they turned and saw a girl with blue eyes staring at them.

Brina Reed?

She bowed. "Pardon me, Silvermist ordered me to accompany you to the centre room for a meeting."

"Okay, let's go!" Parang batang sambit ni Luca at nauna ng naglakad. Sumunod si Liliana sakanila hanggang sa makarating sila sa silid ng centre room.

They arrived in a serious atmosphere inside. Nandoon na ang lahat at silang dalawa nalang ang hinihintay.

"You?" Bryce stood up and pointed his finger to Brina but she just stared at him. Nang dahil sa ikinilos nito ay napatingin na din silang lahat sa babaeng nakatayo sa pintuan.

"You know her?" Freya asked.

Bryce slowly sat back and shrugged his shoulders. At that moment, Liliana realized that the members know that she almost got replaced as a star member, but they don't know the one who was about to replace her.

Then what's with Bryce?

"Thank you, Brina. You may go now." Silvermist smiled at Brina. When Brina closed the door and left, she faced the members again with a serious face. "Since Luca and Liliana are already here, I will now announce the purpose of this meeting."

Liliana nodded and drank the bottle of water she brought from the training room. She then noticed Terrence who is sitting across the table, looking at the bottle she's holding. Hindi nalang niya ito pinansin at nakinig na kay Silvermist.

"You received a mission from the Headmistress."

Lahat sila ay napatigil sa narinig. They didn't expect to do the mission this early and the fact that they still need to improve their teamwork suddenly scares the hell out of them.

As a team, they know that they are not yet ready.

"This is not the official mission. You can breathe now." She added and the members all sighed in relief.

"You should be specific, Sil," Yael said.

Natawa si Silvermist sakanila. "I know, I'm sorry."

Sid dramatically put his hand on the left side of his chest. "You attacked my heart!"

"Pero sa right naka-pwesto heart natin." Pagtatama ni Ruby sakaniya na ikinatawa ng iba.

"What's the mission?" Terrence asked.

"I expect you already know what's happening in the Air Village right now. The rebels have been attacking the half of the village and causing so much chaos for the people out there who can't defend themselves because they took all their equipment and weapons." Silvermist started.
