Chapter 10 - Second and Last

"Sorry, bro. Lakas ng alaga ko eh," Sid playfully smiled and petted the beast he summoned before summoning it back.

Bryce lightly laughed before he vanished, going back to the camp, then Sid waited for Silvermist to announce that Bryce is already eliminated.

"Bryce is out. Bryce is out."

He chuckled. "Grabe. Pati boses ang ganda."

Just hearing Silvermist's voice makes him smile widely like a fool but what can he do? He couldn't help it. Ni hindi niya alam kung bakit patay na patay siya dito kahit na wala namang ginawa o pinakain si Silvermist sakaniya.

Sure, he is known as a playboy. He flirts and bang girls na parang wala ng bukas. Kahit hindi na siya maghanap, lalapit at lalapit parin ang mga babae sakaniya na parang sinasamba siya. He never takes them seriously, plus he's never been to a serious relationship before.

When it comes to girls, all he cares about is being fed, 'til he met Silvermist.

Silvermist is different. She knows how to handle him well, which makes it more interesting for him. He wants to see how far she can resist him, even if Silvermist is their trainer. Wala namang rule na bawal i-date ang trainer kaya walang lalabagin na rule si Sid.

The hundreds of arrows are obviously from Freya since it is her ability to shoot hundreds, sometimes thousands, of arrows in moments with or without her bow. Sid finds it cool, actually.

Pasasalamatan na sana niya ito dahil narinig niya ulit ang boses ni Silvermist nang biglang sumugod si Luca at nagsimulang makipag-laban kay Freya.

She blew her bow, ready to attack. "Not too fast, kid."

"Nah," Luca smirked and shifted himself into a peregrine falcon – the fastest animal in the world. Freya cursed while Sid walked back to watch them fight 'til someone poked him. He turned around and saw Terrence's sword pointing at him.

Sid automatically raised his hands in defeat and smiled sweetly at him. "I'm all yours."

After he eliminated Sid, he interfered with Luca and Freya's battle to finish both of them at once. The two unexpectedly joined forces to fight him but in the end, he still won.

He started walking towards the lake, preparing for another battle but it's not just an ordinary battle. It is a battle between two people who both want to be a captain. Nang makarating siya sa lawa ay agad niyang nakita ang babaeng inaasahan niyang makita.

Liliana was there standing, waiting patiently for him instead of finding the treasure, or maybe she already knows where it is, she just chose not to get it.

It was almost midnight and he couldn't sleep, again, so he went outside his room's small balcony for the first time and was startled to see Liliana standing at the balcony next to his.
