Saturday. 2 pm. No plans today.
Ari was playing solitaire on her phone as she sat in the living room, Jam on the couch across from her. The sound of Sonic rings being lost consistently jingled in the otherwise quiet house. Jam would grumble and lean forward with her controller each time she fucked sonic up. She'd been stuck on the same level for the last half hour.

Ari didn't know how long she'd been playing solitaire though. Her mind wasn't really focused on it anyways. She'd been in kind of a numb state for the last few days, ever since she had her 'realization'. Her leg was bobbing up and down very quickly as she moved the cards around on her phone.
Chris? Or Zach?
They hadn't recorded a new episode since the last time, so she hasn't seen Chris since. Her plans to see a movie with Zach never went through; he had to go back up to Anaheim to talk to Adult Swim out of the blue. Which of course, made more work at her job. She wasn't exactly sure what the business Zach had going on was, but there's been an increase of bills and paperwork at the studio. Must be like an order for more seasons or specials. But that's not what Ari was concerned about.

"Fuck this!" Jam said, defeatedly putting her controller down. She rubbed her eyes and leaned back into the couch. Ari looked up and giggled slightly.
"Give up?" She asked. Jam nodded, eyes closed as if she was meditating.
"I'm close to the end now, but I keep drowning. I hate water levels." Jam said. She looked over at Ari, who had returned her attention to solitaire.
"You should play shadow of the colossus." Ari mumbled. Jam laughed a little.
"Yeah I know. I wanna buy the original though."

Ari closed the solitaire app, tired of playing it for so long. She put her phone down and huffed, thinking about what to do.
"Any dates with Zach coming up?" Jam asked. Ari's head whipped over to her direction.
"Not... no. It's been busy this week. We haven't made any plans." Ari said, trying to sound as normal as possible. She was being truthful, they haven't texted much this week. Zach was staying late at work most of the time, and they only really had time to talk during their breaks. Ari didn't mind though, she thought she might be kind of awkward right now anyways.
"Gonna record any more episodes?" Jam asked, looking up from her phone. Ari shook her head.
"Not that I'm aware of. Everyone's schedule is weird right now."
Jam nodded. "Gonna stream?"
Ari thought for a moment, then shrugged.
"Yeah, I guess I could. It's been awhile. I haven't really felt up to it lately."
"Why's that?"
Ari's foot was still moving around rapidly.
"Uhh... I don't know. Just don't feel like being funny at the moment." She answered, as casually as she could.

Jam cocked her head.
"Not feeling good?"
Ari sighed and put her hand on her knee, trying to calm the shaking. Jam frowned at her.
"Has something happened?"
"Well no, nothings happened..." Ari started. "It's just... with Chris... like, that whole thing."
"Oh, yeah. You like Chris." Jam said, smiling slightly.
"No no, I mean like... like yes, I think I do... but like... that's bad!" Ari said, putting her hands up defensively. "It's weird! I'm going out with Zach! Kind of..."
She leaned back into her chair and sighed again.
"Am I cheating?" She asked herself. Jam snorted.
"You def aren't cheating. How could you be? You just like two guys. I think." She was smiling at Ari, but had a raised eyebrow. Ari's leg started shaking again.

"It feels like cheating. Like... I like Zach, I think! But..." she trailed off. She felt like a piece of shit. It might not be cheating, but still. It felt wrong.
"Who do you like more? I mean, if you like Chris more, then you should break it off with Zach. It might be kind of weird though, since they all hang out together..." Jam said, trying to offer advice.
"I don't know..." Ari groaned. Technically, she and Zach haven't put a label on themselves, and they'd only gone out twice. But it sounds like he really likes her.
Does she like him as much as he likes her, though?
Ari rubbed her arms and grabbed a blanket off the floor.
"Can we get food?" She asked. Jam smiled and rolled her eyes.
"Yeah."
