"Who won Homecoming Queen?" Laura wanted to know at Brunch.

The moms started paying attention.

Quinn was so happy. "Marcy won Princess."

Marcy was shocked by this. "Q!"

"Well you did!"

"You just want someone to brag about you being Queen!"

"No!" Quinn preened.

Laura was super happy for both her sisters. "I'm happy you both won."

"That's okay." Marcy flipped her hair. "I'm going to win Autumn Queen."

Rose scoffed.

Marcy ignored her. "Spirit Week is over."

"That sucks." Marc lied, hating seeing his baby sisters in revealing clothing.

"It'll be back next year."

He almost died.

Marcus rolled his eyes. "We have an announcement."

Marc caught his breath. "We do?"

"We do." Marcus corrected. "We're leaving."

The kids gasped. "We're moving again?!"

"No." Michael sucked his teeth. "We have business elsewhere. You will stay here."

"That means going to church, work and school." Russell added.

"All of you are going?" Maddie could cry.

"Yes."

"When?" Marcy asked.

"Tonight." Marcus replied. "During dinner."

Marc blew out a breath. "Okay."

Marcus was glad it was painless. "Now how is work?"

M&Q&M

"So your parents are leaving us here?" Sam was a little scared.

"Yeah." Quinn was doing work at her desk.

He was reclined on the bed, doing homework. "Do they do this a lot?"

"I don't know."

"You don't know?"

She didn't want to tell him her past so she said nothing for a while. "I'm hungry."

"Want food from downstairs?" He set his pencil aside.

"No. I want a burger and fries."

"Can I drive the Lamborghini?"

"It's yours, Sammy. You can drive it whenever you want."

He was geeked. A blue Lamborghini was sick! He forgot all about her parents and ran to throw on shoes to go get her food.

Just like she'd wanted.

M&Q&M

At dinner, it was a whole different vibe. The kids were relaxed and spoke about things that mattered to them. Karou even invited Arnold.

It was a good time and they didn't even need After Dinner.

They went home and prepared for the next day then unwound before going to bed early, happy.

M&Q&M

"Really?" Mercedes was shocked.

"Yeah." Marcy ate a bit more than she would have before pregnancy but of course because it was breakfast and she never ate that.
