Chapter 17

"I'm eighteen!" Santana was super happy.

"You're eighteen!" Mercedes, Quinn and Brittany yelled.

Santana loved that she was the first of her girls to turn 18. She felt so sophisticated.

"What are you doing?" Marcy popped her balloon.

Santana thought about it. "I don't know. I haven't been feeling well lately so maybe something low key."

"You should tell your mom so she knows."

Santana nodded. Marcy was right.

M&Q&M

"Will I get a shot?" Nic worried.

"No, honey." Mercrdes reassured her. She and the twins had check ups the next day and obviously was worried.

Nic played with her fingers. "Can we get burgers after?"

Mercedes giggled. "Yes, we can."

"Yay!"

Puck loved seeing them together. "Alright, it's time to go to sleep."

Nic pouted.

"Yeah." Mercedes kissed her cheeks. "It's sleepy time."

"Okay, Mama."

Mercedes began singing to her.

Despite herself, Nic fell asleep.

Puck and Mercedes tiptoed out.

Mickey wanted to play instead of getting dressed.

Marcy was amused. "Girl, get in this dress!"

"Mommy!" Mickey popped up and hugged her mother.

Marcy loved that they were talking (slowly) now. "What, Mac?"

"Mommy." Mickey kissed her cheek.

Marcy gave her kisses back.

Mickey giggled.

Mally was asleep. Marcy had dressed him and let him go back to sleep.

Marcy put the blue dress on her oldest daughter and made sure it was right. "You're gonna sit still so Mommy can do your hair?"

Mickey chewed on her fingers.

Marcy took that to be affirmative and got to work styling her baby's hair.

When done, Marcy took both down to her room and let them play in her bed while she made sure they had everything. Then she crab walked them to the purple room.

She opened the door and called her sister's name.

Mercedes exited her bathroom and gathered her things. "Hi, babies!"

Mally bounced. He made a sharp sound in excitement.

Mercedes picked him up. "Hi, my little man!"

He spat baby gibberish at her.

Marcy picked up Mickey. "Let's go. I don't want to be late."

The two went to grab Nic and went downstairs to their vehicles. They traveled to the pediatrician's office and had a good appointment. Nic and the twins were healthy.

After, they went for burgers like Mercedes promised.

While there, Mrs. Gonzales called and asked for a favor. She wanted the girls to go to the store for food. She was swamped with other work and they needed food.
