You sigh as a chilled air blows itself through your braids, the gentle clinks of beads pattering against each other as you look into the sky. Today, as on most other days, the sky was a deep blue and wore a clearness. No clouds to block the warm heat, a perfect day for the Metkayina clan— and for you. You had always appreciated being able to be in the water in outside, which is why you were one of the clans members who could hold their breath the longest. Everyday you would be in the water, even when you were sick you had to dip your toes in to feel the cool liquid.

The water is how you grow closer to Eywa as well, her flowing movements making every slosh and swish of a school of fish feel like a masterpiece of art. She kept balance in the waters, which made you feel more secure with Eywa. Water has no beginning or end, filled with energy to give and take back. Eywa is everything and everywhere, especially in the sea.

You sighed while brushing some hair behind your shoulder's, your attention from the sky being stolen by loud talking and foot steps toward the tent's. 'What is going on?' You asked yourself, climbing off of the large rock you fashioned as your relaxing station. It was the only place, other than the water, you felt like you could get away from the bustle of the clan. Spending time by yourself was important to you, it lets you recharge and be able to focus on the things Eywa gives you.

You then heard a screech in the sky, your eyes widening as you saw five ikran holding typically bluer avatar on their backs. You then rub at your eyes, the ikran coming closer and we're beginning to land on a more Sandy part of the water. 'Who are they?" You questioned in your mind, taking swift steps towards the loud squawks.

You squeezed yourself through the crowd to take a look at the new arrivals, you counting to 6 members of the family. You then turned your head to Tsireya who suddenly raised from the water, one of the deeper blue people obviously noticing her. Who couldn't notice her? She's beautiful and the chiefs daughter. Also your closest friend. You walked through the crowd and came up to Tsireya, standing close next to her to feel more comfortable next to the clan and new family.

"How are they supposed to swim?" Rotxo laughed, Tsireya swiping at his arm and telling the boy off.

"Stop it, both of you. They aren't from the water." You stated in a whisper towards your brother and his friend, feeling an eye on your back. You turned your head to the feeling and caught the larger teen looking towards you before moving his eyes back towards the Clan's leader.

There then was a quietness as Ronal slowly nodded her head, your adoptive father turning to the rest of the clan.

"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brothers and sisters. They do not know the sea, so they will be like babies taking their first breath. Teach them our ways so they do not suffer the same of being useless." He then turned back to the family after his small speech, thank you's coming from the family.

"My Son Ao'nung and my daughters Tsireya and (Y/n) will show your children what to do." Your father stated, Aunung taking a step forward.

"Father, why would you-"

"It has been decided." Your adoptive father shut him down.

You wanted to sigh out loud at this decision but you held your tongue, Tsireya taking the first few steps forward.

"Come, I will show you our village." She stated with a smile then turned and began to walk, you following her pace as the family began to follow as well. You picked up a few things for the family, carrying their cooking items on your head and shoulders as you stepped across the elastic rope that was used as a way to walk around the village.
