I swear to god if Callie does something stupid I will be so pissed, I'm watching her as she watches Cameron and Eve out of the corner of her eye, every time one of them moves Callie stops moving, hoping they don't notice her. When Callie finally notices me looking I slightly shake my head no, and Callie being difficult smiles and nods her head, I shake my head hoping she gets the massage to go away.
She didn't get the message.
Callie didn't know who came to say hello.
"Jordan what the hell are you looking at?" Mack asks. Even if I lie Mack will know, so instead I shrug, Because I don't have a death wish. And even I know when to keep my mouth shut. I just sit and watch as Cameron, Eve and Mack have a three-way conversation. I sneak a glance at where Callie once was. But she was gone. Now I don't wanna say I started to panic, but. If Callie does something stupid I don't know what I will do.
"Jordan." Callie whispers from behind me. I jump, then I look towards the group of three having a conversation.
"Jesus, where did you come from? And how did you know where I was." I ask her whispering as quietly as I can.
"Ivory told me." she says, I then watch as Callie closes her eyes trying to summon up some fire.
"Hurry." I whisper, edging her on. "Any day now."
"Got it." she says. I watch as one of her hands becomes covered in fire. She then closes her hand around one of the vines around me. The vine shrivels under her hand, when one is gone she moves to the next one, then the next one, and the next. When I could take my arm out and untie the rest myself I tell her to stop.
"Where do you think you two are going." Eve asks.
"Callie. I take it back! Help me do the rest. We gotta go." I say panicked. She goes back to help me but she yelps and gets pulled backwards.
"So your Callie eh? Hey I thought you would be taller." Cameron says. I watch as Callie gets yanked backward by the hair, and her fire slowly go away. I wish I could help but I'm still half down, "Hey Mack. Callie almost looks just like you. Hair and everything" Cameron remarks. " It's just the eyes." Cameron says jerking Callie's head back to get a closer look.
"Hey careful, I still care about her a little bit" Mack says. "Callie your 15 now aren't you?" Mack asks.
"What do you care?" Callie retorts.
"Well you are still my daughter, aren't you?" Mack asks again, walking over. I could've swore I heard Callie laugh, short but sweet. "What's funny?" Mack asks.
"Nothing, it's just, you look weirder than the last time." Callie laughs.
