*Sorry, this chapter is LONG...but you can do it. I believe in you :) Enjoy!
The pod looked the same as the rest of them, except for one small detail; the symbol. Megatron wedged his fingers into the crevices of the pod, dents spreading out amongst the metal like a spider's legs. The pod's front tore away, revealing someone who shouldn't be there, especially amongst his enemies.
Ironhide had no idea where he was, as his optics flickered on, now processing his unfamiliar surroundings. His surroundings consisted of large black and purple metal beams, darkly-tinted glass looking out amongst the never ending maze of space. It was similar to a Decepticon's ship but it was not for a strange, unknown alien face glared at him from a high throne. The crowned alien with a red cape draping over his shoulders was almost humanoid, but with scaly purple skin and what looked like fish fins on the either sides of his head.
"Why aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" Ironhide stated, sarcastically.
"Silence, you fool!" The purple fish man commanded. The rough voice echoed throughout the room, making Ironhide slightly inch back. When he moved, the clanking of chains echoed against the floor behind him; restraints.
A black hand roughly pulled back on his head, making Ironhide groan, forcing him to stare into the king's strict yellow eyes. The figure came into his peripheral, the recognizable face and Decepticon symbol flooding Ironhide's system with rage and confusion. "Megatron! What-" Ironhide growled as he struggled to undo the restraints.
Megatron's cackle echoed through the throne room. "Meet my new ally, King Zarkon, and your future master." The black hand released Ironhide's head, before a kick struck him in the side. Ironhide scrambled back to a seated position positioning himself with his back facing away from Megatron. His hands secretly worked frantically untying the chains bit by bit.
"Seems like you two have-history." This other purple, humanoid alien was not as ugly as the other one sitting atop his egotistical throne. The purple was more lavender, matching in the paler tone with his white locks of what humans called "hair".
"Yes," Megatron said slyly, with a hidden anger, "he's one of Prime's Autobots, one that I should have killed when I had the chance." Ironhide could hear the whirring sound of Megatron's cannon firing up, the purple laser light reflecting off of the dark metal flooring beside the leader's leg. "He's only a shield for the one he calls his leader."
"You take that back, you sly piece of scrap!" Ironhide yelled, sharply. A slightly thinner laser erupted from Starscream's null ray in a vengeful response.
"I'm about ready to throw you back into that escape pod; send you out to space for you to rust." Starscream towered over Ironhide, slamming a foot into Ironhide's chest. Ironhide grunted as his back hit the floor. His optics squinted as the barrel of Starscream's null ray lit up only a few inches away from his face. Only when Megatron fiercely called the seeker's name did Starscream, hesitantly, back off.
"What should we do with this imposter, Father?" Lotor asked, walking to center-stage in front of Lord Zarkon. His eye movement was slightly delayed, as he kept a sly stare connected with Starscream, Megatron, and Ironhide, seemingly all at once. Zarkon hummed, before being interrupted by a sudden puff of smoke, from where a hooded figure appeared. The only things that Ironhide could see from his position on the floor consisted of the yellow eyes that glowered brightly from underneath the dark brown cloth. The mysterious figure was also holding a bright blue creature, similar in shape and size to a cat.
"If we keep this stranger, we might risk delays due to arguments. Plus, I don't believe this is the one Megatron is after." Haggar pointed out, her deranged hand caressing the restless feline in her arms. The feline hissed and growled ferociously at Ironhide, making him back up a little more.
A little more humming came from Zarkon. He looked to Ironhide, seemingly assessing him from circuit to circuit. "He is of no use to me." Zarkon spoke, before turning to Megatron, who's blaster arm was impatiently waiting by his side. "Do you want him as your prisoner, Megatron?"
"If I may King Zarkon_" Megatron fired his cannon at Ironhide, the light emission scraping Ironhide's side.
"Why would I keep you as my prisoner when I could destroy you, and then Optimus Prime." Megatron yelled, stepping toward Ironhide, his footsteps like a foreboding drum beat.
Fueled by a pained anger, Ironhide broke the chains before hobbling his way back toward his pod. Ironhide fired upon the Decepticons, ducking and, every once in a while, seeking cover behind other Decepticon escape pods. He could not take the Decepticon escape pods, for the pods are programmed only for Decepticons. If he got into one of the Decepticon pods, it would boot him out, or possibly trap him inside.
Megatron managed to get another shot on Ironhide on the same side, Soundwave holding a Megatron sized gun. Ironhide gasped, clutching his left side. A blue liquid trail started to follow behind him like a shadow.
"Oh scrap." Ironhide muttered. He stumbled, clinging to a pod to not fall over completely. The Autobot could hear Megatron's muffled threats of being turned to scrap metal and Soundwave's slow yet treacherous footsteps following closely behind.
Ironhide scrambled to find the Autobot pod, before finally finding it. He hurriedly jumped inside, pressed a few buttons to activate it, but it didn't work. The pod was damaged, flickers of electricity coming from technology units all in the pod. The front of the metal was dented and disfigured, most likely from Megatron.
"No, no, no, no!" Ironhide partly shouted. He sprinted out of the Autobot vehicle, only to find Soundwave and an annoyed Starscream standing in front of him, guns ready.
"I thought there were more seekers than just you, Screamer."
"Thundercracker and Skywarp have other things to do besides chase around an ignorant Autobot." Starscream sneered, his arm pointed outward, the barrel of his nullray staring at Ironhide.
"Fine with me. That way I can turn you into a scrap heap faster." Ironhide blasted Starscream in the face, before managing to roll out of the way of a blast from Soundwave. He lunged at the nearest pod, closing it as fast as possible. The pod hummed for a quick minute before silencing.
It was not turning on, and panic had started to set in. Ironhide checked the place he had entered; locked.
"Come on! Come on! Turn on, you piece of scrap!" Ironhide gave the pod controls a punch. The pod whirled to life, launching upward. Ironhide got one last glance at the shadows that lurked inside of his pod before everything went black.
