Chapter 10: Start

"Mark? What the fuck are you doing here? It's 11pm!" Donghyuck cursed, grabbing the older by the arm and pushing him into his apartment.

As soon as Donghyuck turned 18, he had moved out. Don't get him wrong, he loved his parents but he really couldn't stand them sometimes, they always wanted to decide everything for him.

"Sorry, I couldn't sleep" mark mumbled, the floor suddenly getting interesting.

"What's bothering you?" Donghyuck asked while walking into his bedroom, throwing one of his (marks) hoodies at the older.

"Wear that and come cuddle because I'm cold and you bothered my sleep" the brunette commanded, sitting down on the edge of the bed as mark changed into the black hoodie.

You told him to change bastard, don't drool!

Donghyuck was going to die. He had seen mark shirtless plenty of times, mostly in gym when they had to change, but now, with only the moonlight illuminating his muscles, he felt his knees go weak, and he wasn't even standing!

"I want to talk about the kiss" Mark stated suddenly.

Donghyuck choked on his spit, staring wide eyed at his friend as he stood up. "S-sorry- what??"

He composed himself, before his thoughts wandered back to the kiss.

"Why'd you kiss me, mark? And don't you dare say some bullshit like 'because I like you' since you hated me for as long as I can remember" Donghyuck crossed his arms, stepping closer to mark.

"Please Hyuck, hated you? Are you serious? Yes, I teased you and said some pretty bad insults but only because you'd say them first. I never initiated a fight, and you know that too" Mark sighed, his eyes not once moving away from the youngers.

And if Donghyuck was honest, what mark said was true. It was always Donghyuck who initiated fights.

"I've been In love with you since 6th grade" Mark confessed.

Donghyuck felt the air completely disappear from his lungs as he stared at mark like he was crazy.

"Are you— are you being serious right now?" And Donghyuck didn't know why he felt tears prick his eyes.

He didn't know if mark was just toying with him or if he was being serious. He assumed it was the first option.

"Ever since that day at gym when everyone blamed me because our class had lost the mini basketball tournament, you were the only one to comfort me. You were the only one telling me I did well"

Donghyuck's eyes widened. Mark seriously remembered that? It was one of Donghyuck's most treasured memories since it was the first time he and mark put aside their hate towards each other.

"Do you want me to show you?" Mark asked.

"Show what?"

"How much I like you?" He was always stepping closer, until there was almost no space between their bodies.

And mark didn't need words, because as soon as Donghyuck nodded, his lips were against the youngers. It was nothing like their first one, this one was longer, more emotional, and truly showed how much mark cared for Donghyuck.

He held the youngers cheek, the other hand holding his slim waist.

"I like you hyuck, maybe even more than like, and I want to be with you" mark said once they had separated from each other.

"Oh god mark, I've been waiting for this day since the beginning of 6th grade"

"Are you saying you've liked me for longer?" The surprise was obvious in his voice, as he started chuckling out of nowhere.

"We're so dumb"

"I agree completely" Donghyuck shook his head, a big smile present on his face as he hugged mark.

"Be my boyfriend?" Mark looked at him, softly caressing his cheek.

"Mhm, I'm not sure, I have to think about it"

"Shut up and kiss me"

Y'all I'm so sorryyyy I said I'd update on Valentine's Day but I completely forgot.

I don't know when the next update will be since I haven't written anything in months...
I've got a lot of stuff to do for school since I'm in my final year, I hope you can be patient, I'll try to update though!
