Chapter 13: Start
︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶Jisung laid on his bed, holding his arm over his eyes. So that the silent tears wouldn't slip down his cheeks, only wet his shirt instead.
Before Chenle moved back to china the two boys were inseparable, joined to the hip.
Jisung didn't do anything without Chenle and vice versa.
At least, they used to.
Jisung had been in love with Chenle since as long as he could remember. Chenle was his first friend, his first crush, his first love.
And Jisung was an idiot because he didn't have the guts to confess before Chenle left.
But now he was back, and Jisung had been determined to make Chenle his, to finally show him his true feelings.
Now he wasn't so sure anymore.
Why didn't Chenle pull away? Did he like Sungchan?
Was he just playing around with Jisung?
Deep down, the Korean boy knew that Chenle would never do such a thing, but right now he decided to overlook that fact.
"Chenle! Don't run you're gonna fall!" Jisung warned loudly, carefully walking down the road.
It was in the middle of winter and the roads were iced, dangerous for any type of vehicle and also for humans.
Chenle didn't seem to care as he ran mindlessly down the road.
He also didn't notice when he did indeed slip, and fell face flat into a small mountain of snow.
"Well, at least you didn't hit your head on the pavement" Jisung shrugged, helping Chenle back up. His face was full of snow.
"It tastes bad" Chenle grimaced.
"It was yellow snow" Jisung mumbled, disgusted.
"Ew!"
"That's what you get for running on ice!" Jisung scolded, handing Chenle a tissue to clean his face with.
"Can we get ice cream?" Chenle pleaded, showing his best puppy eyes.
"Chenle there's not even 4 degrees outside... I don't think we should-" but Chenle didn't listen, only dragging Jisung to the nearest ice cream shop he could find.
Jisung wondered why they were even open in winter. It made no sense.
The boy laughed, remembering the fun memories he had made with Chenle years ago.
"You look like a psycho" Someone spoke, scaring the shit out of Jisung, who fell from the bed.
"Chenle what the fuck" he cursed, trying to calm his rapid heartbeat with deep breaths.
"The door was unlocked, so I entered" Chenle shrugged, as if it was normal.
"Okay. Why are you here?" Jisung asked, quickly wiping his tears so that Chenle wouldn't notice that he had cried.
"Why are you crying?" Chenle asked, sitting down on the edge of Jisung's bed.
"I wasn't"
"You were"
After a moment of silence, Chenle spoke again. "You saw me and Sungchan, didn't you?"
"Chenle, if- if you didn't feel anything for me, then you should've said so from the beginning. You shouldn't have given me high hopes"
"Jisung— what? Do you even hear yourself? I didn't even kiss him back!" Chenle argued, mad.
"Yeah but you also didn't pull away. Why didn't you, Chenle?" The younger boy stood up, looking down at Chenle.
"I- I don't know! But I swear I didn't feel anything! I don't-" Before Chenle could even finish speaking, Jisung stopped him.
"I don't care Chenle. I just want you to choose. It's simple. Me, or Sungchan. Or maybe even none of us. But no way in hell both. I'll give you time until you have figured out what you want." Jisung wasn't up for any games, he really needed Chenle to make up his mind.
"But—" Chenle tried again.
"Can you please go now? I think I need some time. I'm not mad at you."
Chenle slumped, his face dropping into a sad expression. "Fine. See you at school, Jisung"

"Don't you think you were a bit too harsh on him?" Jeno asked, sipping on his chocolate milkshake.
He, Jisung and Mark were currently at a cafe, just catching up with each other.
"You think I was?" Jisung mumbled, just now realizing that he maybe did sound harsh.
"I mean, I kind of understand him. If I was in Jisung's situation, I would feel the same way" Mark defended, shrugging.
"Shut up, you're the only one in a stable relationship between us!" Jisung pouted, pushing Mark's shoulder.
Jeno secretly smiled to himself, a certain pink haired boy popping up in his mind.
"What's up with him?" Jisung whispered to mark, pointing with his chin to Jeno, who seemed to be in his own world.
"I have absolutely no idea" Mark shook his head.
"Anyways. What should I do now?"
"Ji, just wait until Chenle chooses. There's not much you can do besides wait" Jeno spoke, out of his daze.
"What if I have to wait for too long?! I don't have that much patience!"
"I don't think it will take that much... just wait a few days. I'm sure he will come around" Mark patted him on the shoulder, trying to comfort him.
Jisung really hoped that the older boy's words were true.
He wouldn't know what to do without Chenle.
