𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 on the door, you waited patiently for your friend to answer. You haven't seen Sakura in a while, since you've both been busy. You, with adjusting to a huge change in your life, and Sakura with work and her pregnancy.

"Oh my god, ______!" She exclaimed, throwing the door open, and wrapping her arms around you. You hugged her back.

"Sakura! It's so good to see you! You look great, by the way. How many months are you?" You asked her.

The brunette woman patted her round stomach. "Seven and a half. The kid's killing me at this point. I just want him out. But hey, at least I got a month and a half to go. Anyways, come in."

You followed her into her home, slipping off your shoes when you entered, following her into her home.

Working in the field for the commission meant constant movement from assignment to assignment. You had no stability, no family, and no friends.

That was until you met Sakura. She's a secretary at the Hero Commission and your best friend. She took you in, and her family helped take care of you when you didn't have anyone.

"So, how's it going with the new job? You're the number two's assistant, right?" She asked, sitting on the couch in the living room with you.

"It did take a bit getting used to, and it's a little chaotic, but I like it. I don't have to keep everything a secret anymore, I can talk to people about my job, and I'm making some friends." You admitted.

"New friends? They're not going to replace me are they?" She questioned. "What? Of course not. You're my number one. You'll always be my number one."

"Awwww, you always know just what to say. Thanks, babe." She grinned. You smiled back. "Of course."

You can't help but fear that you won't be her number one when she has her baby. It was a hard adjustment when she got married, so you don't know how you'll be able to handle the baby. She's already busy enough, and she's going to be much busier when she has the kid. So how will she have time for you?

"______? ______? You there?" Sakura called, snapping you out of your thoughts. While you were distracted, she brought over some tea for the two of you.

"Oh yeah, sorry. Just got a little lost in thought, I guess." You admitted, picking up the steaming cup and blowing on it. "Yeah, no shit, I've been calling your name for like ten minutes."

"Sorry, sorryyy, just tell me what you wanted to say." You replied.

"I was wondering if you're friends with your boss, Dynamight, too? He seems pretty....intense. Isn't his full name something like Great Explosion Murder God-"

"Yep. That sounds about right. He's also blunt, stubborn, brash, and cocky, but he's nice to work for. It's refreshing to work with someone who speaks their mind rather than sugarcoat everything. He just gives me the facts and the truth, and I like it. He's also kind of funny, and I feel like I can talk to him much easier than I could with the commission. So I guess we're kind of friends, but our relationship is mostly professional." You admitted.

"So you like him?" She asked, taking a sip of her tea. "Yeah. I'd say so."

"Would you have sex with him?" That comment made you spit out your tea, coughing and wheezing.

One of the things you love/hate about Sakura is how blunt she is. She barely has a filter, and it's only gotten worse since her pregnancy, due to her hormones.

"Holy shit, Sakura!" You exclaimed, grabbing some napkins, and trying to wipe off the tea you spit on your blouse.

"What? He's very attractive. Probably one of the hottest heroes out there besides Shouto and that Red Riot guy. I'm just saying, if I were in your position, I'd totally-"

"That would be super unprofessional. He's my boss and he's engaged." You warned her.

"So? He's been engaged for two whole years. Not a lot of happy marriages I know start from one long ass engagement. Except for when money's tight. But they're pros, so money should never be tight for them. Plus, he's blonde and he's a pro, so he's totally your type. Kinda like some other winged pro hero I know.."

Of course, she just has to bring that up. You pinched your eyebrows, letting out a long sigh, and shaking your head. "Holy shit, that's over? Like over over?"

"It's been over, Sakura. Since I left and went to Bakugou's agency. I told you I want a stable life, and that includes a stable relationship. Not just messing around with someone, especially Hawks." You told her.

"Oh, well, good for you. It is unfortunate though,  I really did like him. It's a shame he isn't the one. But maybe Dynamight is. I'm just saying...I mean, you call him by his actual name, not his hero name and you're his assistant, you know about his schedule and everyday life and everything." She said.

"Bakugo's not the one." You dismissed. "How do you know?"

"Because Camie's his one and he's her one, and I don't know him well and he's my boss and he's engaged. That's how I know." You listed out.

"We'll see about that," Sakura remarked with a smirk, taking another sip of tea.

"Anyways, how are things with you and Haru? He's at work, right?" You asked, changing the subject.

"Yeah, he is, and things are pretty good. He's been working pretty hard, trying to make sure he can provide while I'm out on maternity leave with the baby. He's almost excited for the kid to get here as I am." She beamed.

"That's great. I'm so happy for you." You mentally sighed in relief, happy you could distract her without catching on. That's enough discussion about your romantic life for a while.

You and she continued on with the conversation, drinking tea and grabbing some interesting snacks. (Sakura had some weird cravings.) Your hang-out went on all day, with the two of you getting caught up on everything and watching some new movies.

The next thing you know, it's night, and it's time to go. As Haru returns from work, you're leaving, hugging Sakura goodbye, knowing this is the last time you'll see her for a while.
