Chapter 9

I didn't know what was getting said in the restroom as it'd be too dangerous if I was there. With the chance her brother recognising me, and Fräulein Müller losing character if she saw me. I was shocked when I noticed her brother having another beer, shocking me, the fellow seemed to handle alcohol well. They seem to be very different people.
After a while, Fräulein Müller and her friend left the restroom. Her friend was smiling and ended up dancing with Herr Müller, while Fräulein Müller had a slightly grim facial expression. She went to the corner and watched the two, she had a small smile, and it seemed rather forced.
I figured nothing bad should happen, so I left and started walking home. Fräulein Müller didn't seem to be the type who liked to go out, so that probably explains why she was so nervous, and the drinking was something I can't quite figure out. Since she was a school student, she probably just doesn't want to drink.
She also seemed reserved, I guess it wasn't a matter I need to know.

I got home and found some food on the table, I saw Aaron was still out "Oh, you're back" he said.
I nodded "Fräulein Müller and I's meeting got cut short when her brother and friend showed up. But she'll be helping with the report" I explained sitting down.
Aaron sat next to me "That's nice to hear. I thought you'd need a stroke of luck to have her on your side" he sighed.
I nodded in agreement "There was. I suppose she has a good motive for it" I replied before I had a mouthful of the meal.
I tried not to spit it out, it was completely burnt "I take it you made dinner?" I asked.
Aaron laughed "Yeah, sorry that it's burnt, you know I'm not the best cook" he replied.
I chuckled "You're not much better than I, so I can't argue" I replied.
After I ate and Aaron and I washed the dishes we went to our room and got ready for bed.
