We got to my apartment at dawn, Gretchen laid in the sofa and I got her a blanket so she's more comfortable, although she chose not to get changed, claiming that she we'll probably sleep for quite a while, so my cousins would probably wake up first, so it's more acceptable. I returned to my bedroom that I shared with Aaron. I quickly got changed and went to bed, Gretchen hadn't lied when she said we are very tried as I fell asleep in a minute.

I woke up at mid to late noon. I got changed and saw my cousins were still at university. I went out and saw Gretchen was gone, but she left me a note. The note said that she had creeped out, not wanting to wake me up, saying she is meeting with a friend, and that she should be home soon. Which wasn't a lie, only half an hour later she had arrived back, about the same time my cousins got home.

Ruth glared at Gretchen, before looking away, we sat down in the sofa "Where were you?" I asked.
"With a friend. My mother got her a job at Hoffmann's photography. She supports the Party. I had told her not to trust anyone in the party, I told her Hitler was a fraud. It didn't go very well. She said he loved me as a daughter. I said he doesn't love anyone, making her angry, claiming that he loves her. She loves him. There is something happening" she said, covering her mouth at the end, saying more than she should have. "Don't tell anyone, they'll know it's me. That's how Hitler knew I had saved that Jew when we met. She had told him that's why we hadn't shown up, he knew I had stood up for the man. So, if the news gets out, Hitler will know it's her who told someone, and he'd know she'd tell me, that her parents. It wouldn't take long for him to find out" she muttered "I'm upset she kept it secret it for so long. But I'd be horrified if I had found out any other way" she explained.

I nodded "I won't tell the Post, it's good material for a scoop, no doubt, but I'll respect your wishes, and by extension, safety" I said.
Gretchen rested her head on my shoulder "Daniel," she said, I looked to her and lightly kissed her head, letting her speak "I'm going to Hitler's apartment tomorrow to meet with Geli to inform her about Hitler" she explained.
I sighed "That's dangerous" I said, worried.
She nodded "I know, but Hitler won't be there, he'll be on a campaigning trip" she explained.
I nodded "Just stay safe" I said.
We decided to go to Gretchens home later to question her mother.
