Only Your love can
Defrost the coldest hearts,
Warm up the chiliest of bones
And widen the smile
Of someone who longs
For the warmest of embers.
Time and time again,
You show me only You
Can make me feel secure
Like the most comforting blanket
Rests on my shoulders;
The frozen tears on my cheeks
Thaw, and come the tracks of
Perfect love,
No longer held down by fear
Or isolation.
