Reality proved that explaining this matter to his son was truly very awkward. Fortunately, Little Woo dropped this line of questioning. Song Jungkook sighed in relief.

After Little Woo lied down to sleep, he didn't fall asleep right away. Instead, he asked, "Dad, will you and mom have another child?"

It was obvious that Little Woo was still bothered by the teasing questions asked at the wedding.

Song Jungkook tucked the summer blanket around his son and asked, "You don't want a little brother or sister?"

Little Woo shook his head and said how he really felt, "It's not that. Dad, mom now hugs me and kisses me. If mom has another kid, will she go back to before? When she didn't hug me or kiss me?"

Song Jungkook was stunned. He hadn't expected this would be his son's answer. However, if he stood in Little Woo's shoes, he could understand why he would think this. After giving birth to their son, Ruan Lisa hadn't been close to their son. As Little Woo's father, since he had that type of agreement with Ruan Lisa, he couldn't ask her to be a good mother. After all, she didn't love their child, and he couldn't force her to pretend to be a good mother. And so, other than the mental energy he used for work, all his thoughts were devoted to Little Woo. He wanted to give him more love to fill up the vacancy left by Ruan Lisa.

However, he forgot something important. In the process of growing up, a child needed a father and a mother. Neither party could completely replace the other. Little Woo's heart yearned for his mother's love. Now that Ruan Lisa was giving him the motherly love he wanted, in the midst of his happiness, he would also be scared. Even an adult would be scared of losing something after possessing it once, much less a child.

He didn't like Ruan Lisa, and Ruan Lisa didn't like him. In the past years, they had maintained an equilibrium of sorts. Neither side would interfere with the other person's life. If they didn't have a child together, this type of marriage wouldn't be bad.

Song Jungkook hugged Little Woo and comforted him. "She won't. And, dad and mom don't have any plans on having another child."

As an adult, he knew what kind of person Ruan Lisa was. Thus, even if she had become slightly better now, it didn't make a difference to him. In fact, he had already mentally prepared himself for her recent behavior to only be a temporary whim. But, a child wouldn't be able to do that.

Little Woo opened his eyes wide and asked, "Really?"

He thought it over before adding, "If mom will keep hugging me and kissing me, then I would want a younger sibling."

Song Jungkook couldn't help laughing. On the surface, he looked relaxed, but his heart felt slightly heavy.
