There was an entire floor set aside for the food court in the mall. Pizza Hut was one of the food options there. As the three people were tired from shopping, they found a place nearby Pizza Hut's ordering counter to sit once they arrived.

Since it was the weekend, a lot of parents had brought their children out to play. Places like Pizza Hut or KFC would be busier on weekends.

Little Woo wanted to eat this and that. His demeanor when he was craving for food was exactly the same as Ruan Lisa's demeanor when she was shopping.

Although he had a bigger appetite than other children of his age, he was still a kid and wouldn't be able to eat much. Despite this, Ruan Lisa went along with his requests and ordered an order of everything he pointed at.

Song Jungkook wasn't interested in pizza and ordered fried rice for himself.

As their orders trickled in, Little Woo exclaimed, "Wah!" before stretching his chubby hand towards the pizza.

He was especially happy today. And, when his mom took him to preschool tomorrow, he could tell his friends that his parents had taken him to eat at Pizza Hut!

---

By the time they got home, it was almost 8PM.

Song Jungkook and Ruan Lisa were both exhausted. And so, they handed over the responsibility of giving Little Woo a bath to the housekeeper aunty.

Just as Ruan Lisa was going to take a shower and then go rest in her room, Song Jungkook suddenly called out to stop her. Their relationship hadn't improved much since she had transmigrated here. It remained pretty much the same as when the original owner was here. It was extremely peaceful with neither party bothering the other person. Even if they did talk, it would only be because of Little Woo.

Why did he want to talk to her right now?

He wouldn't bring up divorce while they were standing in the hallway, right? Ruan Lisa furrowed her brow. Although the housekeeper aunty and Little Woo were in the downstairs bathroom and this home had good sound insulation, there was no absolute guarantee that their conversation wouldn't be overheard.

Based on her understanding of Song Jungkook's personality, he wouldn't, right?

"When we went to your parents' home recently, I saw that the neighborhood facilities are getting old and there's no elevator in their building. Even though your parents are only living on the fourth floor, it's tiring for them to go up and down the stairs every day. I was thinking of buying your parents another home if they want."

Ruan Lisa blinked. She thought she had misheard.

Although she knew that Song Jungkook reated his in-laws very well and he was rich, there was no need to go that far, right? Why was he offering to buy her parents a new home? He was the one that had paid for their current home.

Since yesterday, Song Jungkook's behavior had been giving her a strange feeling.

An unreasonably solicitous person might be harboring evil intentions.

Ruan Lisa couldn't be blamed for thinking this way. Anyone would have doubts after hearing Song Jungkook's offer.

No matter how good a son-in-law was, he wouldn't be that good, right? In-laws weren't the same as one's own parents.

Ruan Lisa forced herself to push down her speculative thoughts and shook her head. "No need. That's already a much nicer home than any place my parents have lived before. Besides, they're used to living in the neighborhood. They wouldn't be happy about moving..." After a pause, she said, "As for going up and down the stairs, they're only in their fifties. They're still very healthy. Exercising by walking up and down the stairs is good for them. I appreciate your kindness, thank you."

Song Jungkook had never been good at currying favor. After his proposal was rejected, he was silent for a moment before suggesting, "New cars will be appearing on the market soon. See if you like any of them."

Ruan Lisa: "..."

This person really knew how to tempt and lure people.

Even if she was slow, she would know that Song Jungkook was trying to curry favor with her.

Still, the way that an overbearing CEO went about currying favor... it was truly impossible to refuse him. Her heart felt unbearably itchy, ah!
