A child's world was so simple. Ruan Lisa found this simplistic, childish reasoning very amusing. She leaned down and patted his little head. "Alright, I got it. There's lots of rice at home."

From Ruan Lisa's point of view, the original Ruan Lisa had only done one horrible thing in the novel, which was giving away her son. As for the original Ruan Lisa's other life decisions, she didn't really have the right to evaluate them as an outsider. After all, the original Ruan Lisa merely loved herself the most. Everyone had their own way of living. This was fine as long as a person's lifestyle didn't touch the moral bottom line.

Based on her understanding of the original Ruan Lisa's character, Ruan Lisa thought that no matter who and where she transmigrated to, she would find a way to give herself the most comfortable life. Rather than worry about the original Ruan Lisa, she should be worrying about her own situation. After all, in the dream, the original Ruan Lisa showed no desire to return here. This meant that the original Ruan Lisa had transmigrated to a life that was superior to her life as Mrs. Song.

At the thought of that last part, Ruan Lisa said to the chubby kid, "Little Woo, do you miss dad?"

Mr. Song and the original Ruan Lisa had a relationship where they lived practically separate lives. Neither party had feelings for the other one. They had only gotten married because the original Ruan Lisa got pregnant. However, Mr. Song treated his son extremely well. Compared to the original Ruan Lisa, Mr. Song was much more suitable to be a parent.

The chubby kid immediately nodded. In a crisp voice, he answered, "Yes!"

He really did miss his dad.

In the future, he was going to be the villain that would cause the male and female protagonists many headaches, so even now, the chubby kid had more than just ordinary cleverness. He hugged Ruan Lisa's waist and quickly and resolutely said, "I miss mom too!"

Ruan Lisa easily returned his hug. She warmly asked, "How about we hop on a plane to see dad tomorrow?"

The chubby kid hadn't gone anywhere far yet in his short life, much less go somewhere by plane.

He blinked. He wanted nothing more than to immediately set off to find his dad with his mom.

After transmigrating here and feeling at a loss for the first few days, Ruan Lisa quickly came to terms with her current situation and figured out a few possible paths for herself.

First, given the way that the original Ruan Lisa and Mr. Song interacted, it would be the most beneficial option if Mr. Song stayed alive. She wouldn't have to deal with the complications that came up as part of a married couple. He and the original Ruan Lisa were like familiar strangers. If she stayed as his wife, she wouldn't have to worry about food or other life necessities. Wouldn't that be a wonderful life?

As for what Mother Ruan had said about getting along with Mr. Song and having a loving marital relationship with him... Even the original Ruan Lisa hadn't reached that level of enlightenment, much less her.

As long as Mr. Song continued living, she would continue to be his wife. And of course, on behalf of the chubby kid's cuteness, she could put herself into the role of a good aunt! She wasn't up to the task of being a good mother.

Mr. Song was rich. She wouldn't have to worry about the chubby kid's daily life. As long as she played and chatted with him, it would be enough.

Of course, if the novel's plot was too strong and her best efforts weren't able to avert Mr. Song's death, that would be okay too. She wouldn't make the same decision as the original Ruan Lisa. She wouldn't try to find another ATM. She would make good decisions regarding the two houses, sell the luxury car that was under her name, and find a job that wasn't too demanding. It wouldn't be a problem for her to support herself and a child.
