Song Jungkook hadn't brought up divorce and didn't try to control her personal life. She didn't have feelings for him, and the two of them lived together like harmonious roommates with separate lives. This was how this plastic couple secretly co-existed. There was no reason for her to break this balance shortly after coming here.

If you wanted to say she didn't have self-respect that was fine. Anyways, with regard to the current situation, continuing this marital relationship where each spouse treated the other with distant respect was the best option for her.

Ruan Lisa held Little Woo's hand and followed Song Jungkook into the wedding reception hall. Their seats had already been arranged. Song Jungkook was seated with the groom's college roommates. The table was relatively close to the stage. She had already exchanged greetings with Song Jungkook's college roommates earlier, so she thought that she only had to sit down and be a quiet background prop. She could just listen to these old friends' reminisce.

Unfortunately, Song Jungkook wasn't the only one that had brought his family. While the men were reminiscing about their unforgettable college dorm memories, their wives also had their own separate conversations.

The woman sitting next to Ruan Lisa cheerfully said, "The last time I saw you were Little Woo's first birthday. Over two years have already passed since then..."

"Yeah, time passes so quickly." Ruan Lisa echoed her sentiment.

In neither quiet nor loud voice, the woman continued, "Have you guys thought about having a second child yet? Little Woo is already attending kindergarten. Your family's financial situation is good. While you're still young, you should have another child."

Ruan Lisa: "..."

Why did the conversion have to go in this direction?

A second child? She didn't even want to give birth to the first child.

Since Ruan Lisa didn't answer her, the woman started to taste Little Woo, "Little Woo, do you want a little brother or a little sister?"

Little Woo was very honest. He shook his head and answered, "I don't want either."

Ruan Lisa was inwardly delighted by this answer. This chubby kid's answer made her like him even more.

"Why? Are you afraid that your dad and mom won't like you anymore?"

It was already 2018, and there still exist people that would say these words in front of children. Ruan Lisa could only be resigned.

Little Woo glanced at his mom and asked, "Mom, you don't like me?"

Ruan Lisa quickly held his chubby hand and kissed it. "How could mom not like you? I like you a lot. Can't you tell?"

Even though she didn't like him the way a mother would unconditionally love her child, after spending so much time with him, she did care about Little Woo. It was because she liked him that she would play with him every day and sleep with him.

Having received his mom's answer, Little Woo looked at that woman. In a clear voice, he said, "My dad and mom won't dislike me. But, I still don't want a little brother or a little sister. Little kids are so annoying."

It was really funny hearing a three-year-old kid saying these words. Everyone at the table laughed. Song Jungkook was also smiling as he looked at his chubby son.

"But lots of people have younger siblings," the woman continued to tease Little Woo.

Some adults really had bad taste. They would keep teasing little kids until they caused them to flush or even bawl, and even then, they would only feel momentary satisfaction.
