The Eons Book Two-Chapter Thirteen:

I was beaming like the sun. About  3 and a half years after Bane tied the knot, so did Alec and Calypso. I waited another 2 before Ari and I finally made it work. So as Waseem for the third time said ,”You may kiss the bride,” I beamed. Ari leaned in close and whispered ,” Now you really are my Bella.” I kissed the side of his mouth. Even 10 and a half years later Ari could make me moan with just one kiss.

“Save it for the bedroom,” Ash called from the second row. I laughed. His two sons were sitting beside him with Bane flanking them. Calypso’s daughter smiled at me, I still couldn’t believe she was two years old. Ari took my arm and led me down the aisle. When we came in for our first dance Ari held me close enough for me to feel his breath on my neck.

“You don’t have to hold me so tight you know. I really am yours now Aswari.” His eyes are gleaming. Those eyes I get so lost in. I smirked a little at the corners of my mouth.

“Don’t you ever leave me.” His hands stayed at my waist pulling me towards him.

“I couldn’t. You’re like a magnet, no matter how much my pride resists, you’ll always pull me back because I knew there was something between us the first time we met; Vegas just sealed the deal.” The glimmer in his eyes faltered for just a moment. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Once we returned to our quarters Ari turned to me.

“When we were in Vegas, did I hurt you?” I almost laughed.

“I was beyond drunk. I think if you had shot me I wouldn’t have felt it.”

“Did I do anything you didn’t want me to?”

“Ari don’t even start beating yourself up. I told you already, way before Vegas I knew I would have you. It didn’t matter that it didn’t happen on a bed of roses after our wedding. We’re here now do you want a redo?” The glitter I was looking for returned. His hands went to my hips naturally.

“Don’t even tempt me Bella.”

“It’s not a taunt. You want it, come get it.” I took his hands and walked backwards until I hit a wall. His bare chest inches from mine, he leaned on the wall behind us. I kissed his chin, working my way down towards his neck I gently sucked his skin. When he groaned I thought I had hurt him, instead his mouth came down, closing our mine. The inside of his mouth was familiar and exciting all at the same time. His hair fell in our eyes and we laughed into the kiss.

“Mom, Blane is hogging the bathroom!” Callisto whined.

“Baby you are twins you have to learn to share.” We had this fight every few days. Our twins,Blane and Callisto, were beautiful. They had my eyes and Ari’s hair. At 14 they were quite the troubling twosome.

“Everyone hold the presses, I’m home,” Ari announced, walking through the door.

“Sounds like a pride issue Mr. Aswari.” I turn from Callisto to smile at my husband of 14 years.

“We are having dinner with the royal family right?” He wraps his arms around my stomach, smiling at our daughter.

“Yes Bane has invited all of us over.”

“Yes!” Callisto squealed,”we get to see Zayn and Peter!” She and her sister did a little dance.

“Why are you two dancing? They are 5 years older than you and you will not date Ash’s children.” Ari was quite the father-figure I did not have at fourteen.

“Well then will Milicia and Michael be there?” Micah had gotten over me really quick because our old friend Charlotte made a comeback and they had twins who were fifteen.

“Let’s go back to Zayn and Peter.” I’m sure my voice was full of bitterness but I didn’t really like the family.

That night at dinner our daughters disappeared for about half an hour. When the came back I knew it was a crash course in Alec and Calypso/ Bane and Ash all over again. Kids will be kids right? Ari threw his arm around my shoulders. I would always have my family.

“So is this the end?”

“Maybe Ari, it’s just the new beginning.”

Author's Note: Guys as much as I wish it wasn’t, this is the end of the Eons series. So we’ve seen the beginning and end of a monarchy, loss of friends, reincarnation, death, and just a little bit on love:) Ash has grown to be a stunningly courageous king with the ever amazing Bane beside him. Alec and Calypso would be the only couple that wasn’t in the public light. They’ve taught Falcon numerous things about herself and love. As the book comes to an end I would like to take a minute to thank the real people Bane and Calypso are based off of. So to Madison Shay Smith and Ashtyn Brooke Smith : I thank you from the bottom of my shallow heart for sticking with me even when my writing was cheesy and when my grammar is awful. You are the best friends I could have asked for.

THE END OF THE EONS SERIES.
