Nina Blake thought this summer would pass by like any other. She would work so her family would hopefully not be evicted from their house, make sure her brothers didn't burn down the town, and get wasted with her friends to forget all the above. The perfect summer.
However, when a mysterious sunken wreck stops Nina and her friends from having a normal day on their boat, the five are plunged headfirst into a dangerous adventure none of them could have predicted.
While solving the mystery of a missing father and a lost treasure that could change their lives, the impossible seems less out of reach, and buried feelings are thrown into the open. Will the thrill of a treasure hunt be enough to make a lifelong friendship blossom into something more, or will the deep-sea enigma break families apart?
Only one thing was sure, and it was that Nina's life would change. For better or for worse.
(Knowing well which side of the island the balance always seemed to tilt in favor of, Nina wasn't too hopeful.)
