Helena P.O.V.
I awaken a long while later in the hospital. My eyes take a few minutes to adjust to the bright light. I slowly look around and notice a nurse next to the bed checking my vitals. She looks up and smiles at me. "Good you're awake." I want to talk to her, but I have a tube down my throat. Instead all I do is nod my head. I slowly and painfully reach for my phone on the table next to the bed. "Do you want me to call someone for you?" The nurse asks, looking at me after checking my vitals. I nod my head yes. I watch her go to make a call and she says " I need you to enter your password for me. " She hands me my phone and I put in my password before handing it back to her. I watch her scroll through my contacts and then she asks "Do you want me to call Laura?" I nod my head. I watch as she hits the call button on my phone and I can hear Laura answer on the other end. " Hello" She answers. "Yes hello my name is Grace I'm a nurse at Saint Valley Hospital I'm calling to let you know that your mum was in a car accident." "Is she okay?" Laura asks, and I can hear the panic evident in her voice. "She is awake and alert, but she has sustained some injuries." Grace tells Laura. "I'm on my way now. " Laura answers and I can hear her hang up the phone. Grace hands me back my phone. "Laura is on her way." She tells me. I nod my head and then she tells me " I'll be right back. " she says, leaving the room momentarily. She returns a few minutes later and looks at me and says "We can remove your breathing tube." I try my best to relax as she removes the tube and I end up in a coughing fit. Once my coughing fit has stopped I take a deep breath and ask Grace "What happened?" "You were in a bad car accident. The car was totaled. Thankfully you were wearing your seatbelt. You broke your foot and have bruised ribs, you also have a concussion." She tells me. I take in everything she is telling me. I then close my eyes when I feel the room starting to spin. I then find myself getting sick as Grace hands me a small bucket. I close my eyes waiting for the spinning feeling to pass and when I reopen my eyes I see Laura sitting in the hospital room with Charlie. "Hi." I say, as Laura looks up from feeding Charlie. "How are you feeling?" Laura asks. "Miserable." I say, as I proceed to get sick in the small trashcan next to my bed again. I lean my head back against the pillow as the room starts to spin again. "How long am I here for?" I ask Laura. "Another day or so." Laura answers and I groan in frustration. " Don't worry mum everything will be fine. " Laura reassured me, but unfortunately it does very little. "Do you want me to call your mum to come stay at the house?" Laura asks. "It's okay, I don't want to worry her." I say. I turn my head toward the door when Laura and I hear someone enter the room. We are both shocked to see Tim standing in the doorway holding a sleeping TJ in his carseat. "What are you doing here?" I ask Tim. "I came to see you when I heard you were in a car accident, it was on the news." Tim says. I find myself inwardly groaning and I watch Tim put a small bouquet of flowers on the table. "Why are you here?" Laura asks him, and honestly I want to know why as well. " I came to see if you needed anything. " he says. I look at Laura and then say to her "Laura sweetheart, can you please give us a moment?" I ask her. I watch Laura rise from her seat and take a sleeping Charlie into the hallway. After she leaves Tim sits in the chair Laura previously occupied. "Why are you here?" I ask him. "I told you I came to see if you needed anything. I also know once you are released you will need help. Your mum works, as does Tom and I know Laura is home but she is busy with the kids. I thought it would help if I stayed with you guys until you can get back on your feet." He says. I look at him taking in what he said. As much as I have missed him I still haven't forgiven him for what he did to Laura. " Thank you for the offer but no." I tell him. He looks at me and says "You know you'll need my help." I slowly shake my head no. "We will do perfectly fine without you." I tell him. I watch him sigh as he rises from his seat and picks up baby TJ. I watch as he turns around and heads for the door not before saying "If you change your mind you know where to find me and you have my number." I then watch as he exits the room and the door slowly closes behind him.

Laura P.O.V.
I'm at home with Tom and Charlie when my phone rings. I see it's mum and pick it up right away. "Hello." I answer. "Yes hello my name is Grace I'm a nurse at Saint Valley Hospital I'm calling to let you know that your mum was in a car accident." "Is she okay?" I ask, and I can feel myself panicking. "She is awake and alert, but she has sustained some injuries." Grace tells me. "I'm on my way now. " I answer and I hang up the phone. Tom at this point has entered the living room. "Who called?" He asks. "It was a nurse at Saint Valley Hospital. She said mum was in a car accident she told me mum sustained some injuries but other than that all I know is she is awake and alert." I tell him. " Don't worry love, your mum's a fighter she'll be fine. " Tom tells me trying to reassure me. "I'm going to bring Charlie and go see her." I tell him. " Okay. " he says, strapping Charlie into her carseat as I go to pack her diaper bag. When I am done I have Tom drive me to the hospital. I walk to the receptionist desk and ask "Ms. Bonham Carter is in which room?" I ask the receptionist. "She is in room 714 in the third floor." She tells me. " Thank you. " I say and walk to the elevator. I feel like the elevator is taking forever. I get to the third floor and find mum's room. I slowly open the door and walk in. I sit in the chair next to the bed as Charlie starts to fuss. I pick her up out of the carseat and feed her. "Hi." Mum says, as I look up from feeding Charlie. "How are you feeling?" I ask. "Miserable." Mum says, I then watch as she proceeds to get sick in the small trashcan next to her bed. I watch mum lean her head back against the pillow. "How long am I here for?" Mum asks me. "Another day or so." I answer as mum groans in frustration. " Don't worry mum everything will be fine. " I say trying to reassure her, but unfortunately it does very little. "Do you want me to call your mum to come stay at the house?" I ask. "It's okay, I don't want to worry her." Mum says. I turn my head toward the door when Mum and I hear someone enter the room.
