She Saved Me Version 2

Part 32

Tom P.O.V. 

Helena took Laura to the clinic because she wasn't feeling well. I hope she's okay. I see the car pull up and watch them walk up the driveway. When they enter the house, Brieanna and Dylan run up to Laura and hug her and just like before she timidly, bends down and hugs them. She then walks over to me and hugs me. The next thing I know she is kissing me. "What was that for?" I ask. "What a girl can't kiss her husband?" Laura asks, smiling.  I look at her and say "What?" "I said what a girl can't kiss her husband." "You remember!!" I say picking her up and spinning her around. I then kiss her with everything I have in me. "Tom we do have something to tell you." Helena says. I can tell from the tone of her voice it isn't good. I sit on the sofa with Laura in my lap and say "What's wrong?" Laura takes a deep breath and then says "I'm pregnant." Helena interjects and says "Its Tim's baby. She wants to have the baby and put it up for adoption." Laura looks at Helena and says "What if we kept the baby, but said it was yours." she says, looking at Helena. "Just say something like I was a surrogate or something." Helena looks like she is pondering this. "I'm leaving this up to you mum, its whatever you want." Laura says. "It would just be too painful and what would we tell the kids." "Good point." I say. "Okay, that settles it, the baby is being put up for adoption." Laura says. "I'm just so glad to have you back." I say, kissing her with all the passion I have in me. 

Later that night, I notice Laura looking uncomfortable. "Laura whats wrong?" I ask, panic evident in my voice. "Nothing Tom its just something doesn't feel right." she says, looking worried. "Do you want me to take you to the ER?" "Its okay, mum can take me, you stay with the kids." I say kissing him. I watch her as she changes her clothes and she looks in pain the entire time. She then kisses me one last time before going to wake up Helena. The last thing I hear is them heading out the front door before falling into an uneasy sleep. 

Helena P.O.V. 

I still can't believe Laura remembered who I am. We've decided to play a trick on Tom. She is going to act like nothing has changed, then show him she remembers. We walk into the house and Brieanna and Dylan come running up to her. and just like before she timidly, bends down and hugs them. She then walks over to Tom and hugs him. The next thing I know she is kissing him. "What was that for?" he asks. "What a girl can't kiss her husband?" Laura asks, smiling. He looks at her like she is Fluffy the three headed dog and says "What?" "I said what a girl can't kiss her husband." "You remember!!" he says picking her up and spinning her around. He then kisses her.  "Tom we do have something to tell you." I say.  They sit on the sofa with Laura in Tom's lap and he asks "What's wrong?" Laura takes a deep breath and then says "I'm pregnant." I interject and say "Its Tim's baby. She wants to have the baby and put it up for adoption." Laura looks at me and says "What if we kept the baby, but said it was yours."  "Just say something like I was a surrogate or something."  I stop and  ponder this. "I'm leaving this up to you mum, its whatever you want." Laura says. "It would just be too painful and what would we tell the kids." "Good point." Tom says. "Okay, that settles it, the baby is being put up for adoption." Laura says. "I'm just so glad to have you back." Tom says, kissing her again. 

Later that night, I'm laying in bed unable to sleep. "I can't believe Tim did this to Laura." I think to myself. I then notice Laura standing in the doorway of my bedroom. I can tell right away something is wrong. "Laura sweetheart what is it?" I ask, scrambling out of bed and grabbing the closest outfit to me. "Something doesn't feel right, I don't know what." she says. "Okay." I say, finishing putting on my shoes "Let's go." we then head downstairs and out the front door. 

Laura P.O.V.

She ponders this for a minute. "I'm leaving this up to you mum, its whatever you want." I say. "It would just be too painful and what would we tell the kids." mum replies "Good point." Tom says. "Okay, that settles it, the baby is being put up for adoption." I say. "I'm just so glad to have you back." Tom says, kissing me again.

I then kiss Tom one last time before going to wake up Helena.  I walk to Mum's room. She notices me standing in the doorway of her bedroom. I know she can tell right away something is wrong.
