Two days later Helena and I bring Laura home. When we enter the house, Brieanna and Dylan come running up to Laura and hug her. "Hi Mum we missed you." they say. Laura looks uncomfortable but bends down and hugs the kids. "Hi guys." she says. "At least its a start." I think to myself. I bring Laura into the house and show her around the house. I then show her our bedroom. We sit on the bed, and I take out a photo album we had been making of our memories together. Our first date, our wedding day, different times we've spent together. She looks at each one thoughtfully, but nothing seems to register. I feel awful that she can't seem to remember anything. I look at her and say, "Laura I will do whatever it takes to help you get your memory back." "Thank you." she says. I decide to play a memory game with her. "Laura close your eyes." I tell her. she does as told. "We are going to play a game. I'm going to ask you a question and you give me the first answer that comes to mind." "Okay." she says. "What color are my eyes?" I ask her. She thinks for a minute and then says "Green." "No." I say sighing. "What is our daughter's name?" I notice her think for a second and then she says "Bridget." "No." I say sighing again. "But at least the first letter is right." I think to myself. I can tell she is getting frustrated with herself. "Why am I so stupid and why can't I remember anything?" She says, tears falling down her beautiful face. I wrap my arms around her and let her cry on my shoulder. "It's okay love, you are not stupid you just can't remember anything because of what happened. You are the most beautiful, smartest, kindest girl I know." I say. She looks at me and a slight smile spreads across her face.

The guy and woman I met at the hospital brought home with them. Their faces look familiar, but I don't know why. As we enter the house, these two little kids come running up to me saying "Hi Mum, we missed you." they say. I feel very uncomfortable at not remembering the kids, but not wanting to hurt their feelings I bend down and hug the kids and say, "Hi guys." The guy who the kids call daddy shows me around the house. He then shows me the bedroom. We sit on the bed, and he takes out a photo album he says we had been making of our memories together. Our first date, our wedding day, different times we've spent together. I look at each one thoughtfully, but nothing seems to register. I feel awful that I can't seem to remember anything. I'm going to ask you a question and you give me the first answer that comes to mind." "Okay." I reply. "What color are my eyes?" he asks me. I think for a minute and then say "Green." "No." he says sighing. "What is our daughter's name?" I think for a second and then say "Bridget." "No." he says sighing again. I am getting frustrated with myself.
