Helena P.O.V.
Later that night Tim and I are sitting on the sofa in the living room with TJ asleep in the Pac n play as the sound of Mozart continues to fill the house. Tim and I have been discussing names for the baby all afternoon but have been unable to come to a decision. As we sit pondering our endless options, Tim rises up off the sofa and goes to the kitchen. He comes back with two bottles of water. He hands one to me and I take off the cover and sip at it slowly. I then notice Tim looking at me. "What?" I ask him, wondering why he is staring at me. "Here's an interesting thought that just came to mind." he says, I look at him waiting for him to continue. "What if you and I got a place of our own and then we got married?" I stop and look at Tim like he is crazy. "What are you talking about married. I thought we liked things just the way they are?" I ask him, looking perplexed. "I know you do, and I do too, I just thought that maybe you and I could get a place of our own and then get married, we could be a real family." Tim says. "So, then what are we now?" I ask him, still looking at him perplexed. "We are a family, but this way we could solidify that and make it official." he says, looking at me. I stop and ponder Tim's thought. It sounded nice in theory, but I don't want things to change any more than they already are. "Tim, I think that's a sweet idea and I understand where you are coming from, but I don't think marriage will work for us. Don't you think we could just keep things the way they are?" I ask him. I look at him and notice his face fall. I then notice Tim stop and look at the clock. "As much fun as this is I need to get going it is getting late." he says, rising off the sofa. I look at him and I can feel my heart sink. I really don't want to be left alone in the house again. "What if you spent the night?" I ask him, hoping he will say yes. "What about Laura?" he asks. "Laura, Tom and the kids won't be home until the weekend, so we have the house to ourselves." I tell him. I notice him stop and ponder this for a moment before he says "Okay let me just run home and pack a bag for myself and grab some extra things for TJ. Can you watch him until I get back?" I pick TJ up out of the Pac n play and cuddle him. "Of course." I say, smiling at Tim. "Okay, I'll be back in a few minutes." he says, walking to the front door and closing it behind him. I rise off the sofa with TJ asleep in my arms and watch as Tim's car pulls away. Once the car is out of sight, I walk over to the stereo and shut it off before walking upstairs with TJ and laying him in Charlie's room in the crib. I then sit in the glider and watch him sleep all the while my mind wanders to my baby. As I sit there watching TJ sleep, I start to feel the fluttering in my stomach again. I get up out of the glider and close the door quietly behind me as I exit the room when I hear Tim's car pull into the driveway. I then proceed to walk down the stairs slowly as I hear the front door open and watch as Tim enters the house with a duffel bag in one hand and a diaper bag in the other. I close the door after descending the stairs and he walks in and puts the bags on the floor. "Where is TJ?" he asks looking at me. "I put him up in Charlie's room to sleep. That way we wouldn't have to move the Pac n play upstairs." I tell him. I watch him nod his head. I watch as Tim walks into the kitchen with the diaper bag and puts TJ's formula on the counter. I notice he has written TJ's name on the canister. He then walks out of the kitchen and picks up the bags off the floor and says "I'm going to put these in the spare bedroom." I nod my head at him and watch him retreat up the stairs with me following behind him. I watch as he lays his bag and TJ's diaper bag on the floor. He then turns and looks at me. "I'm hungry what about you?" I nod my head at him in reply. "What do you say I make my specialty, hotdogs." he says. "Tim that's sweet but I'm not able to eat hotdogs." I tell him as I watch his face fall. "What do you say I make dinner. What do you think of pasta and meatballs?" I watch Tim nod his head at me and smile. I walk back downstairs with Tim following me and we walk into the kitchen. I take out the pan and fill it with water and put it on the stove. I then turn on the burner and wait for the water to boil. While this is going on I grab the box of pasta and the meatballs out of the freezer. I take out a cookie sheet and lay the meatballs on them and turn on the oven. Once the oven is on, I put the meatballs in and wait for them to cook. I then notice that the water is starting to boil so I break apart the pasta and put it in the pan. While I am doing this Tim is taking down plates and taking out silverware and setting the table. I watch the pasta as it boils and stir it when I need to. Once the pasta is boiled, I check the meatballs and notice they are done. I take the meatballs out of the oven and place the cookie sheet onto the stove. I then take the plates off of the table and put pasta on both and then place them back on the table. I turn off the oven and the burner for the stove and turn to go sit down and eat where I see Tim has lit a candle. Just as we are sitting down to eat TJ starts to cry. I walk upstairs and into Charlie's room and pick him up out of the crib and hold him close. His crying dies down a little as I walk with him back downstairs and into the kitchen where Tim is sitting at the table waiting for me. I go over to his canister of formula and just like before make him a bottle. I then sit at the table with him and feed him. I can feel Tim watching me as I feed the baby. "How much longer do we have until the baby comes? We need to start setting things up here for you." Tim says. "The baby is due on my birthday remember?" I remind him. "So how much more time does that leave us?" he asks me. "That only leaves us with fifteen weeks left to get everything ready." I tell him after doing the calculations in my head. "We need to start planning about where to put things for the baby." Tim tells me. I nod my head in reply. "I know I also need to make a list of what else I need to get as well." I state. "Well why don't we make a list tonight and tomorrow we go shopping." Tim says and I nod my head in approval. "That sounds like a plan to me." I say. We sit at the kitchen table and make a list of what we need to get. Once the list is done, I take it and put it on the fridge for tomorrow. I then stop and look at the time. "It's getting late and I'm tired, I'm heading to bed." I say. I watch Tim rise from his seat and he looks at me and says, "I am too goodnight, Helena." he says, kissing me as he walks by me to go to the stairs. I rise from my seat still holding TJ and put his empty bottle in the sink I then walk upstairs with him and put him back in the crib in Charlie's room. I take the baby monitor from the room and bring it into my bedroom with me not before turning on the one in Charlie's room. I then walk into my bedroom and climb into bed starting to try to mentally prep myself for the new baby.
