Helena P.O.V.
Today I'm meeting Tim at a coffee shop near the house. I don't want to go far in case Tom needs me. I'm sitting in the coffee shop with a coffee in front of me when Tim walks in. I look at him when he sits down across from me. I notice he looks rather smug, like he got away with something. Well if he did hurt Laura he will pay the price no matter how much I love him. "So Helena what's up?" he asks. "Nothing much, I just didn't know if you heard about what happened to Laura?" "I did, its such a shame." he says. I can tell he doesn't mean a word of it. I know he never liked Laura from the moment I brought her home with me that fateful day a year and a half ago. "Tim you shouldn't feel threatened. I love you, you know I do, just because Laura is my daughter and has the kids doesn't mean I love you any less." I tell him. "I just don't get why you did it Helena?" Tim tells me. "I did it because if I hadn't she could have died, she had no one." I say. " Helena you could have brought her to a women's shelter or to an orphanage, but you didn't you took it upon yourself without consulting me to save her." "I don't have to consult with you about every little thing Tim." I tell him. I can tell he is getting really agitated and angry. "Helena let me tell you something, eventually she isn't going to want you anymore and she'll leave you like she's done before." he tells me. "Tim can I ask you something?" "Shoot." he replies. "Did you hurt Laura?" Tim looks at me for a minute and then says something that I was hoping he wouldn't say. "Yes I did and if I was given the chance I'd do it again only next time, I'd make sure she dies and that she is out of our lives for good." he says getting up and leaving me sitting in the coffee shop stunned.
