[FLUFF] ~ [Monster: Taka x Vampire!Reader]

~ (Y/N)'s POV ~

As I walked through the halls of Hope's Peak Academy, all the students in the hall starred and whispers. Despite the fact that they were whispering, you could hear what they were saying. And that was because, you were a vampire. Among the entire population of your country, you were part of the 55% that was a "monster." There were two types of monsters— Regular and Hybrid. A regular would be a full-on creature, like a mermaid. While a hybrid could be a werewolf-demon, or a "fusion" like a mermaid and succubus, which would make a siren. At Hope's Peak, there were several species of monsters among you, including ghosts, shapeshifters or mimics, demons, angels and several more. You were one of three vampires in the school. The other two being a rich girl named Celestia Ludenburg and another guy from your math class named Gundham Tanaka. Some "humans" treated you kindly, while most discriminated you monsters. Not to mention, amongst your school there are labeled "good" and "bad" monsters so a handful of the good monsters treated you and the "bad" monsters poorly.

As you reached the top of the staircase a pair of hands grabbed your shoulders and pushed you, in which you caught your fall because you floated.

"Dammit! I thought for sure you'd break your neck!" You look up to Hiyoko standing at the top of the staircase with her arms crossed. "It doesn't matter." She says smirking. "But as soon as the sun hits your skin, you'll turn into a burnt biscuit!" You laugh at the short girl.

"Hiyoko, that's just a myth." You say as you walk past her, sticking your hand into direct sunlight only for it to glitter. "Vampires don't burn SWEETIE." You say as she growls, knowing that she hates being called that. "We sparkle." You glare at her with your red eyes as she walks away.

"Go jump off a building!" She says while you laugh at her stupidity.

"Already did, SWEETIE... But I just float down, remember?" She grumbles as the bell rings and you walk into your classroom. As you look around there are some students there you have never seen before standing at the front of the classroom.

"Alright, now that everyone is here. I have an announcement to make." Your teacher announces as you sit down, noticing that the whole row of seats to your left and right are empty except for one. Now, due to the recent death of Mr. Natsu, we've had to add an additional sum of students to our class. Which works perfectly since there are now 15 of you in my class." The teacher walks over to her seat and picks up a clipboard. "Now let's see... Junko, Miu, and Sonia, you three set in the back row and Taka and Kyoko, you two door in the second row." As the students head to their rows, one of them tap your shoulder.

"Um. Excuse me. Are you, like, a monster or something?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Ew." She turns towards the teacher. "Mrs. Mina! Can I, like, have a totally different seat?"

"And why is that Junko?" The girl named 'Junko' rolls her eyes and places her hands on her hips.

"Because she's a monster. And I'm not sitting next to... To a freak." The teacher sighs.

"Will anyone like to sit next to Ms. (Y/N)?" One of the students raise their hand.

"I will, Mrs. Mina!" He turns to Kyoko. "You can take my seat, so Junko can have yours."

"Thank you Taka, I appreciate it." Your teacher groans in frustration. As the students exchange their seats you look at the one who sits beside you.

"Black hair, red eyes, clothes that cover-up most of his skin... Is he a vampire?" Taka sits down next as the teacher begins to write stuff on the whiteboard.
