Percy POV

Leo pulled out the most beautiful weapon that I had ever seen. When he handed it to me I saw that he pulled out Riptide as well. I looked at the sword he made himself, and was almost scared about what he did to it. He smiled, and said. "Don't worry Alpha. It won't kill you. Just look at it and tell me what you think." I smiled and handed it back to him. "I think it is amazing. Definitely a beautiful weapon." I reached for my weapon, but before I could he said, "Now this would definitely kill you." I pulled my hand back quickly, but he just laughed. "Naw man I'm totally messing with you. Though it is an amazing weapon." I noticed it felt different in my hand. "What exactly did you do to it?" He smiled. "I made it compatible with your wolf form. It will now make your claws celestial bronze whenever you transform while holding it. Also I made it like Jason's old coin, but instead of flipping it and getting what you get. You can choose what you want. Also instead of just being a sword or spear, you can have just about any melee weapon by just thinking about it. Go ahead and try it out." I smiled, and thought about a dagger. Suddenly it transformed into a dagger that looked almost exactly like Annnabeth's. I quickly changed it to a hammer, then to a spear. Then back to Riptide. I smiled and quickly hugged Leo. "Thanks man. You did amazing. It is better than ever." He smiled, "Oh and one more thing. It will not be a pen when you wear your armor. It'll appear on your back, as a sword." I smiled, and asked. "Will it still appear back if I leave it somewhere?" He nodded. "Well it should. Why don't you go ahead and try it." I nodded and turned it into a hammer. I reached back, and launched it as far as I could. After a minute I felt a weight appear on my back. I reached back, and pulled my sword out. I smiled, as I put the sword back where it went. "Nice. This will be awesome." I smiled and asked. "We should spar." Leo laughed. "You are on." We headed back into the arena and I got into my fighting stance, holding my sword out in front of me. He charged at me, and attacked me harshly. I figured out that the boy who acted helpless, was much less so. We spared for nearly thirty minutes. At this point, we were both soaked in sweat, but I finally disarmed him. "Where'd you learn to fight like that?" I asked as he went to collect his sword. "I learned from watching you and Jason. By the way, you should go visit them at the Roman camp. And warn them that Kronos is rising again." I nodded. It had been awhile since I've seen Jason, Piper, Frank, and Hazel. "You know Leo. You are right." I walked out of the arena with a smile on my, lips though no one could see it. I walked toward the Artemis cabin. I changed into my wolf form, and barked at the door. Phobie came and answered the door and smiled. "Well hey Alpha, What can I do for you?" "Do you know were Artemis is?" She smiled. "Getting a little curious all the time aren't we." She winked at me and said. "Yeah she is in the Pavilion, with Thalia." I smiled and said, "Thanks Phobie I appreciate it." She smiled as if she knew something I didn't. "Have fun." I looked at her, but she just closed the door, smiling. I turned around, and headed toward the Pavilion. I kept thinking about what Phobie said, and I couldn't think of any reason why she would act like she knew something I didn't. I kept thinking till I walked into the Pavilion, and saw Artemis holding a golden box in front of her. I cocked my head to the side, and turned human while I finished walking up to her. "What is that Lady Artemis?" I asked while making sure that my helmet was secured on my head. She smiled, and said. "Alpha, this is a gift for you." She quickly shoved the box into my hands and smiled. I felt it, and noticed that it was heavy. I undid the bow, and lifted the lid. Inside was the bow that I saw Thalia using earlier in the arena. "Lady Artemis, what is this for? You know that I can't shoot a bow." She nodded, and said. "Yes, but we can teach you. Also since you are a part of the hunt you should have your own bow. Also the other bows weren't made for you. A bow is just like a sword, that it must fit your hand perfectly. The other bows here at camp don't fit you, just like the other swords don't fit you." I lifted it out of the box, and felt it flowing with magic, as if it had been forged by magic. "What is this material?" I asked. I tapped the bow, and it rang with a metallic cling. "That is the same material that your armor and shield are made from. We had Tyson whip up some more for us." I smiled. Again Tyson had helped make me a weapon. I pulled the string, and suddenly an arrow appeared in the drawn string. I flinched a little bit. This had to be the magic I was feeling inside of it. Artemis smiled. "I see you have discovered that portion. However there is more to it than that. You have unlimited arrows. You don't even need a quiver. It is completely self-contained. Also, if you don't want it it'll disappear, and reappear when you need it." I smiled, and rushed forward. My bow disappeared instantly. I wrapped Artemis in a hug, and lifted her up. "Thank you Lady Artemis. I love the bow. I appreciate all you have done for me." I turned to Thalia. "Thank you too Thalia." I wrapped her in a hug too, but not as tightly as I did Artemis. "Artemis I need to ask you a question." I said after I released Thalia. "Go ahead Alpha." I looked at her and said. "Alone." She glanced at Thalia, who instantly started to walk toward the cabin. However Thalia winked at me as she passed me. What was up with all the hunters? Did they know something I didn't? I looked at her, and suddenly my throat tightened up, and I couldn't speak. I cleared my throat. "Artemis, I am going to go to the roman camp, and I was wondering if you would like to come with me." I looked at her and she had a sly smile on her lips. I looked at the ground. I heard her walk toward me and lift my head up. "Alpha. Of course I'll go with you." And before I could react she lifted up my helmet, and kissed me. It startled me. She looked down, and I realized she was blushing. "Sorry Alpha." With that she rushed toward the cabin. I followed her steps all the way there. I smiled, and went to the arena to clear my head. I flicked down my helmet, before anyone could see me. When I reached the arena, there was someone already there. As I walked in, I saw them slice apart a dummy. Soon all of its stuffing was on the outside of it. I stepped forward, and they stopped mid swing. They turned around, and said. "Beat it punk. I was here first." I recognized that voice. "Hello Clarisse." I said, while reaching for my sword. I made it shift into a spear, so that she wouldn't recognize my sword. "I said beat it. I am not in the mood to be bothered." Suddenly she turned and threw a dagger at me. I flinched, and it hit my thigh. Luckily I had my armor on, and bounced off harmlessly. Once she saw it was me, she quickly apologized. "Oh sorry Alpha. I didn't realize it was you." She said with a slight growl of disgust. I nodded. "It's cool, ok I can clearly see your frustrated, you want someone to take it out on." Indicating my spear. Her scowl turned slightly upward, but with an evil smirk. "You know what. I'll take you up on that offer." She reached down for her electric spear. I groaned. Not this again. She rushed toward me without warning. She tried to stab me in my leg, but I jumped back and knocked away here spear. Where our spears met, a flash of lighting occurred. Again she attacked, and again I knocked it away. This time, I ran forward, and just before I reached her, I changed my spear into a trident, and caught her spear in between two of the forks. I twisted the trident slightly, making her drop her spear. She tried to dive for it, but before she could reach it I flicked my trident up beneath her throat. She raised her hands in surrender. I lowered it and said, "Clarisse you've gotten sloppy. What happened?" She growled, and leaned over and picked up her spear. "How would you know?" she said cautiously as she stood up. I changed my trident back into its sword, and she gasped. "Prissy?" I nodded. "Swear on the styx that you won't tell anyone." I said quickly. When she swear, thunder boomed in the distance. I smiled. "How you been Clarisse?" I asked as I changed my sword into a hand-and-half grip. "Not great." She said as she swung the butt of her spear at me. I expected it, and ducked beneath it. "Why is that?" I asked as I countered with a back handed swipe. "Well since you left, this place has gone downhill. Annabeth, and Ryan run the camp now." That was news to me. I wondered why everyone looked nervous when I attacked them. She tried to stab me in the gut, but I blocked it with the pommel of my sword. "They are making life like a living hell for those of us who still claim you as a hero." That didn't surprise me. I quickly jabbed at her trying to keep her off balance. She blocked and tried to swipe me off my feet. I jumped over, and tried to bring my sword down on top of her. "How many are left?" I asked knowing that she would know what I meant. "To few. Most would kill you on sight if they knew who you were, however there are enough of us, that we keep you name in circulation. We haven't forgotten what you have done for us. Oh the people that had their things 'stolen' by you when you were here are the only ones that still say you are a hero." That shocked me, and she used my distraction to sweep me off my feet and point the spear at my throat. After a couple of seconds she moved the spear, and reached her hand down. I excepted, and she pulled me onto my feet. "Why are they the only ones who are on myside?" I asked while trying to catch my breath. "Because," she answered between her heaving breathing. "We realized once you left that it wasn't you who was stealing our things. It was Ryan, and he was framing you to make you look bad." Suddenly my anger flared, and I was about to walk into the infirmary, and kill the little creep, but Clarisse grabbed my shoulder and shook her head. "Not now." The fact that she was holding me back surprised me. "Why?" I asked, my anger coming out in my voice. "Because, you will do more harm than good if you go in there and kill him. Us head counselors know that he is a no good creep, but the other campers still look up to him, even though he treats them worse than dirt." I wrung my hands around my sword, wanting to strangle the little creep. "Listen Perce. I know you didn't do anything you were accused of, but I need to know. Why?" I looked at her. I understood her question. She was asking why I left. She was asking why I didn't try to prove my innocence. "Because." I started. "I had nothing left to fight for here." With that I walked out of the arena with a single tear sliding down my face, and a dumbstruck Clarisse standing behind me.

I walked back to my tent to start packing for the trip. I packed my sleeping bag, and my emergency stash of ambrosia, and nectar. I looked around, and I didn't see anything else i thought I would need. I stepped out of the tent and at that exact moment, Artemis stepped out of the cabin with her gear all packed as well. I offered her my hand and she took it. We walked hand in hand till we reached the border. "You know you don't have to come." I said to Artemis who was looking back toward the cabin. "I know that, but I wanted to." I smiled. "I am glad you agreed to go. I will enjoy the company. Also, you can teach me how to shoot that bow you gave me." She smiled. "It would be my pleasure." I laughed. "You say that now." She slapped my shoulder, and we started to walk down the hill. I hit my wrist, and felt my armor contract into a watch that sat on my wrist. I rolled my shoulders. I didn't realize how heavy and uncomfortable that stuff was till just now. Artemis looked over, and said. "You ok?" I nodded and said, "Yeah. I am fine. I'm just a little sore from the armor being on all the time." She nodded and smiled. "Yeah I understand." I looked at her, and in her expression, I noticed the many years of loneliness that she put herself through. "I'm glad you're here with me Artemis."I said and reached for her hand again. "Me too Percy." With that final statement we walked in silence for the rest of the day, not in any hurry, but just enjoying each other's company.
