Percy POV
I walked in and saw Hyperion, and let me tell you that was a terrible sight, he was bloody pretty much all over his body, with at least a couple broken bones, a dislocated shoulder, a broken nose, and a knife driven through his hands pinning him to the ground. All in all he looked absolutely pathetic. I turned to Clarisse, and just raised an eyebrow. She looked at me, and said,
"What? You said do what I needed to."
I just smiled, and shook my head then turned back towards Hyperion. "So what can you tell us about what is going on here?"
"Go to Tartarus." He spat at me.
"Been there, and you will be there soon too, unless you tell me what I need to know right now."
I reached forward and grabbed one of the knives, and twisted it causing him to scream in agony.
"Are you going to answer me?" I growled into his ear.
I ripped the knife I was holding out of his hand, and stabbed him through his foot, then I took out Riptide, and changed it into a knife, and stabbed it through his forearm. He screamed again, and let out a whimper as I grabbed Riptide.
"Ok. Ok. I'll talk."
"I'm listening then," I said as I released Riptide, and changed into wolf form so that I could lay down comfortably while he told me what I needed to know.
"Ok. Your enemy isn't actually Kronos, its Tartarus."
That kind of stopped me in my tracks right there. I knew that to bring Kronos back would take someone of extreme strength, and power. That would definitely be an issue. Oh well we know how to beat a primordial, maybe we can use that to our advantage.
"What else?" I demanded as I glared at him.
"Well the titans are the generals of his army, and the giants are backups, and his personal guards."
Ok that was definitely going to be an issue. It was highly unlikely that we would be able to beat the giants again, especially so soon.
"One more thing," He stated.
"What?"
"The titans fear you. The giants fear you. The reason because you are the one person that could defeat them by yourself. You are the one person that can beat a giant without a god, because you might as well be a god at this point. Especially with all the power that you have now."
I smiled that could definitely level the playing field. I smiled a wolfish smile as I stood up, and saw him flinch. I changed out of wolf form, and stood over him.
"I need you to swear on the Styx you will not fight against us anymore in this war."
He quickly nodded, and said, "I swear on the Styx that I will not fight against you in this war." Thunder rumbled in the distance and I smiled, and summoned some fire-water. I saw the fear in his eyes as I approached him. I gently pulled out Riptide, and place the fire-water onto his wound which immediately started to heal and close up. I saw the pain on his face lessen a great amount. Then I continued to heal his wounds till I came down to the knife in his foot. I looked at him, and quickly pulled it out and healed it. The look on his face was one of complete confusion.
"Why would you heal me? I am your enemy, and yet you show me kindness, why?"
"I healed you because we may be enemies in this war, but I know that this war will end, and I am so tired of fighting the same fight over and over again. I would rather that I make friends and allies where I can instead of always just killing the monsters. I would rather make peace than make war. I may be a warrior, and I will fight, but if there was a chance at all that things could be talked through then I will take them. Now Hyperion I release you from our capture, but remember your promise." With that said I walked towards the camp. I stopped a couple of yards away so that I was out of eye sight, but my sense of smell and my hearing were far greater than Hyperion's. I sat and waited, sniffing the air to whole time to try and get a read on his emotions from the scent that I was getting from him. I smelled confusion pouring off of him in waves. Then I heard his footsteps coming towards me. I tensed, and made my armor appear, while also reaching for my sword. When he finally came within eye sight, I noticed that he had a slight smile on his face, and no weapon in his hand.
