Percy POV

I recognized those eyes "Hey Hylla. How you been?" The look on Lycaon's face was priceless. In fact I could smell the surprise rolling off of Hylla as well. She stood up on all fours, and then she started to change into her human form. "How did you know?" she asked kind of scared. I looked at her, and sniffed the air. I could smell her stress, and also fear. I smiled, trying to calm her down. "Actually until I met you I didn't. However I have a question. When?" I knew that she knew what I meant. She looked at the ground kind of hesitantly, then looked up at me. "Percy it's actually been like this for a while now, like since just after you came and visited the amazons, in Seattle." I cocked my head a little, the asked, "Is that why you were able to kill the previous queen so many times?" She nodded, and said, "Yes that is why, however whenever you met me I was not a werewolf. It happened just after." "Tell me you story please Hylla." She nodded, and after twenty minutes of speaking, I learned that after we escaped, then she went out for a walk with some guards, however they were ambushed by Lycaon's pack, and everyone but she died. She didn't feel it at the time, but one of the wolves had bitten her. When she finally noticed it was too late, but she swore that she wouldn't be like the other monsters. When she finished telling me all of this, she was crying her eyes out. I looked at Lycaon, and the look of shame on his face was immediate. "I never meant to turn her into one of us, but after it happened she came looking for us." I nodded, and turned back to Hylla. I gently reached over, and wrapped her in my arms till she stopped crying, and looked at me with fear, and confusion. "You mean you don't hate me?" I looked at her, and laughed a little. "Hate you? Why would I hate you? It wasn't your choice, and even if it were, you said you would be better than what people expect out of us now." "Yes but with the war coming I thought you would be mad because Lycaon couldn't fight as well." I smiled, and said, "Lycaon is king. I would never expect a king to fight a war." I said with a smile directed at Lycaon. I could tell that he knew that I would never ask him to be front lines, because he smiled, and nodded. I stood up, and helped Hylla to her feet as well, and said, "Ok now I hate to do this, but I have a dual, and I have asked Lycaon, to watch my back so that no one stabs me in the back and its time I got going to that." What Hylla did next kind of shocked me. She nodded, and grabbed a sword from behind a tree, and said, "Well then I guess an extra pair of eyes never hurt right?" I smiled, and nodded but then said, "It's not the eyes I want, but the nose." She looked kind of confused but nodded, and gestured with a hand to lead the way. I smiled, and turned to head toward the arena. Before I stepped out of the forest, I hit the button for my armor, but kept my wings tucked away. That was going to be a surprise for everyone when I pull them out. When I stepped into the arena, I saw that all of the demigods, and gods where already there. I smiled underneath my helmet, and turned around to see that Hylla, and Lycaon weren't there anymore. I nodded ever so slightly. It was probably for the best that they stay hidden until the very last moment. When I looked toward the center of the arena, I saw Ryan, and Annabeth standing there talking in hushed voices. I saw Annabeth slip something into his hand, which he then tucked into his armor near his back. I smiled under my helmet, and started forward. When I reached the center, I turned toward the gods, and gave a slight bow. Then turned towards Artemis, and gave a quick nod of thanks. She smiled and dipped her head slightly in return. "Gods, and demigods. We are here to watch this battle between Alpha, and Ryan Castellan. The rules are powers, and magical items allowed, but no killing. Also you can maim until the other gives up or passes out. The first unable to continue to fight will be announced the looser. Ready begin." Yelled Chiron. With that we began circling each other. I noticed that he held his sword low, kind of like he was going to charge, and swipe with his sword towards my chest. He charged, and I smiled. I just let him come and attack me. He swung, and I let it bounce off my armor. I didn't even feel it. It didn't even scratch my armor. I laugh, and bring back my arm, and punch him in the face sending him sprawling. He stands, and says, "You coward, hiding behind your armor. I don't have any, and neither should you then." "Is it cowardice, when your enemy would strike you in the back the first chance he gets? However if it will make it seem like a fair fight, then fine I will." I willed my helmet to turn into my silver one, then I hit my wrist and my armor disappeared. I hit my shield button again, and smiled under my helmet. I saw his eyes narrow, but there was an evil gleam in them as well. I knew that he was planning something. "Tell me Ryan, how did you trick everyone that you are a friend? You are down right one of the worst fighters here at camp. I bet one of the pups in the pack could beat you bare handed." He growled, and charged at me again. Good I wanted him angry. The angrier he was, the more likely he was to make a mistake. I needed him to mess up because I wanted the gods, and campers to see who he really is. He lunged toward me, and I knocked his sword away with my shield. He stumbled forward, and I changed my sword into a trident, and swept his legs out from under him. When he landed on his back, I stabbed one of the forks through his sword arm, causing him to drop his sword, and scream out in pain. I looked at Hermes, just to make sure that he didn't mind, but when I saw his eyes. I knew that he minded quite a bit, but he nodded my way and waved his hand in a continue gesture. I nodded, and pulled out the trident, and stepped away. He stood on shaky legs, and reached down to get his sword. All the while keeping his eyes on me. I smiled under my helmet, and turned my trident into a spear. I used Zeus' blessing and charged it full of electricity to where it gave a nasty shock just like Clarisse's old spear. He charged, and I made a quick jab at his legs, which he was forced block. I spun around him, and barely tapped his legs with the tip of my spear causing them to spasm. He fell on his face, and I stabbed into his should causing him to scream again as the spear released the electricity into his body. His body was shaking as a side effect of the electricity that just coursed through his body. Again I pulled out, and stepped back to allow him to recover. When I had stepped back five feet, I heard a grunt, and turned around to see Lycaon, sitting on top of an invisible enemy. I saw him reach down and pin something to the ground, then he reached up and yanked something off, and soon Annabeth materialized beneath him, with a knife in her hand, that had a green tint to it. A poisoned blade. I gave a quick nod to Lycaon, and turned back to Ryan. He was just now starting to recover from his electric shocks. I smiled, and sheathed my sword, and summoned my fire water combination, and made it swirl around me. The look on his face was priceless. I made a little of it touch me so that I absorbed it, and the energy I felt flow in my made me smile. I was beyond energized. I felt like I could fight for hours now. I saw how he was looking at me, and I knew that he was afraid of me. Good he should be. He charged me again, before his failing courage failed him completely. I smiled, this guy didn't take a hint. When he swung, my shield disappeared, and I pushed his blade out of the way. I deftly moved around him, and Judo flipped him onto his back, where the air left his lungs with a woosh. He sat there stunned trying without success to get air back into his lungs. I smiled again and stepped back. When I was a couple feet away, I heard him start to stand, and then I heard something flying through the air towards my unprotected back. Quicker than anyone could follow, I pulled my sword out, and blocked the incoming projectile. I looked at where it landed, and saw a green tinged dagger sitting in the grass there. I nodded, that had been what Annabeth had handed him. I turned toward him. Then my wings sprung out from my back, and I charged toward him, and lifted him into the air, where I then slammed him back into the ground. I then threw one hard punch into his face, and made him pass out. I growled, "Good riddance traitor." I looked at Zeus, and stood. I made a quick bow, and said, "Gods, and Goddesses, and campers. I have challenged him this day to show to you a traitor, or actually two traitors." One of the campers stood up, and yelled, "How do we know we can trust you? All you have done, is hide your face, and bring in those mangy mutts. Who are you?" I looked at him, and said, "Son of Ares, I suggest that you keep your mouth about my family. However as to who I am?" I reached up toward my helmet, and I looked at Artemis, and saw that she was giving a slight nod. I nodded back then turned back toward the campers. "You already know who I am." And with that I removed my helmet, and stood with my head down. This allowed my hair to cover my face so that no one can see my face, then I said. "You know you can trust me, because I have been here before. You know you can trust me because no matter what you have done I have always been there to protect y'all." With that I lifted up my head toward the campers. When they saw my face, the silence that followed was deafening. There was no movement, no sound. I could tell that no one was breathing either. Eventually I looked towards the gods, then said, "We have a traitor in this camp." I walked toward Ryan, and reached under his shirt, until I felt the necklace that I knew was there. I pulled my hand out, and with it I pulled out a charm with a scythe on it. I yanked it off of his neck, then threw it to the gods. It landed at the feet of Zeus. He picked it up, and suddenly the sky darkened with thunderheads. "However, I don't believe he is here alone. I believe there is also another traitor here." The look on the gods faces was shock, then an insatiable curiosity. I walked toward Annabeth, and listened. I heard a faint voice coming from near her wrist. I reached down, and yanked the charm bracelet off of her wrist. With Lycaon still sitting on her, it was easy enough because she didn't have very much room to move. I gave another nod of thanks to Lycaon, and then threw the other charm at the gods again. I looked at Lycaon again, and he understood, he quickly knocked Annabeth out with a quick jab into her face. I turned back to the gods. "I have caught them. It is up to you to decide their punishments." With that I turned and walked out of the arena, leaving the silence of everyone behind me.
