Percy POV

We woke up, and I realized that last night, was probably the calmest I have ever felt. I didn't know if it was Artemis near me, or if it was because I was doing something that I believed whole heartedly to be right, and more so because they threatened my hunter's lives by trying to kill me. I stood up and gently shook Artemis with my front paw. She looked up bleary eyed. I smiled, she had bed head really bad, and I thought it was funny. I chuckled a little bit as I walked out of the tent to give her some privacy. When she came out, she patted my head, and said. "You are too nice Alpha." I smiled, "Naw. Just respectful." With that she leaned over and kissed the top of my head. "That is all a woman could ask for." She walked away leaving me puzzled and confused. The conch horn sounded for breakfast. The girls came out and followed me up to the pavilion. When we entered many of the campers glanced at me. "What?" I growled. Them trying to secretly glance at me was starting to bug me. "They are afraid of you." Said a voice. Soon a bright light filled the Pavilion, and there stood Apollo. "Alpha, I need to talk to you." He started to walk away. I stood up and followed him. We walked till we were in front of the Poseidon cabin. "Do you know why this is my favorite cabin, besides my own?" I shook my head. "this was his cabin, before everyone turned against him." "Who are you referring too?" "Percy Jackson. He was the one hero that everybody loved. He did so much for Olympus, and this place." With a smile he laid his head against the outside of the cabin. "Anyway, the reason I brought you here, is to tell you. Artemis staked herself for you last night. I don't know if you know this, but she has never done that before." I raised my ears a little bit. "What does that mean exactly?" "It means, that if Athena  attacks you, Artemis will take it as an attack on herself, and she will react accordingly." To say I was surprised was a little bit of an understatement. I mean I knew she would, but to have it said in such irrefutable terms kind of puts it into perspective. "Thank you Apollo." "Oh you think that was all I wanted to say? No I wanted to say, be careful with her. I know she fancies you, and I can see it in you as well. Just know that if you hurt her, I will make it my personal responsibility to hunt you down." I smiled and said, "Lord Apollo, I would never dream of it. However there is something I would like to show you before you leave." I nodded toward the inside of the cabin. He looked at me and said, "Yeah right I don't have a death wish. Anyone who enters here, without Percy's permission instantly gets fried." That was news to me. "What do you mean without Percy's permission?" "Leo rigged it with traps, so that none of Percy's things could be messed with until he returned." I thought I was going to pass out, but instead pushed my snout into the door cracking it open a little bit. I started to walk in, but before I could Apollo grabbed my tail. "Alpha, you don't want to do that trust me." I continued to walk in. Apollo jumped away, probably expecting some bomb to go off, which was probably a good guess. I went in and climbed into my old bed, and realized that everything I had had on the walls were still there, except there was one difference. I saw a shield hanging on the wall were I used to keep Tyson's. This shield, however had a wolf head stamped into the metal. "Apollo, it's ok to come in." He looked in and shook his head. "You should be dead, but that doesn't mean I want to be." I smiled and quickly changed into my human form. I said, "Oh come on Apollo. You don't recognize me?"  with a look of realization he came in slowly, afraid that I might disappear. "How is this possible?" he asked. I quickly dove into my story. He sat on another bed quietly listening while I finished up my story. "That explains a lot." I cocked my head to the side. "It explains why I lost sight of you after the day you became a wolf. I can't see into other gods' areas of influences. I may be the god of truth, but that makes it clear why Artemis likes you." I smiled and said, "Lord Apollo, I hate to ask, but will you swear on the styx that you won't tell anyone else who I am." "I swear to the styx that I won't reveal who you are." Thunder boomed outside. I nodded, and started to walk toward the entrance. "Apollo. I give you permission to come in here whenever you want." He smiled and said, "Thank you Percy." I nodded, and walked back toward the pavilion. I sat at the end of the table, and again all of the other campers were sneaking glances at me. I smiled. Maybe them being afraid of me wasn't a bad thing.
