Percy POV
When I landed, Zeus still stood in the forest were I left him. "Did you have fun?" I smiled, and nodded. "Thank you lord Zeus, I really do appreciate this blessing." He gave a small smile, and said, "Good I'm glad. Use it to better protect my daughters. You now have free access to my domain, as well as the ability to summon lighting. I smiled and quickly tried just for a small bolt. I succeeded, when I felt a bolt jump between my fingers. Suddenly, I heard running in the forest. It sounded like the pounding of paws on a soft bed of grass. I pulled out my bow, and started looking around. I could tell that Zeus noticed, because he came up, and stood at my back with his master bolt in hand. I heard a branch snap, and turned to face a wolf. I smiled and lowered my blade. "Lycian, welcome. We thought you were an enemy for a second." I saw a wolfish grin spread across his face. "No, I am an enemy no longer." I smiled and gestured for him to turn to his human shape. Then I asked, "Was there something you needed Lycian, or were you just exploring the forest, and happened upon us." He looked at me, and said, "Milord, I have come with a request." I looked at him, with a calm demeanor, and said, "Ok, first don't call me lord. I am not one who likes to be superior to someone, and second, you know that you can always ask anything of me." I noticed and small nod, and then he spoke quietly, but confidently. "Ok Percy. I wanted to tell you, that my pack is growing restless. I may be their king, but if they sit still for too long, without doing something, then they will attack anything that moves." Zeus then spoke up, and said, "You would break our truces soon?" It wasn't obvious, but I heard the threat behind those words, and apparently so did Lycian. "I would never. This is the first opportunity at peace that we werewolves have had ever. However my pack must do something. We are not house pets that can sit still for weeks on end and be lazy. We are natural predators, and we must constantly be moving." I nodded in understanding. This time sitting around waiting was about to drive me crazy. I looked at Zeus, and knew that he wouldn't like my idea at all. "Lord Zeus would you allow them to help the camp?" The look on his face was almost ballistic. "Are you serious Percy? You want me to allow a monster to help this camp that is full of my family?" He was almost screaming by then end, and I noticed that his hand was reaching toward his master bolt. Before he could react, he had an arrow sticking in between his feet. He jumped back kind of surprised until he noticed me holding my bow. "Zeus you need to real in that anger. Because if you don't, then I will leave because by every sense I am a monster, and I will not stand for you insulting them if they have proved that they want peace instead of war. The werewolves, have only ever attacked out of defense not out of aggression." He nodded, then said "Of course, forgive me Percy. I didn't mean to insult you, but old habits die hard. I will have to get used to calling Lycaon an ally." With that he bowed, and then continued. "Percy please use them however you would see fit, since you are the one that made this peace possible." With that he flashed away leaving me alone with Lycaon. I turned around, and noticed that he had a hand gently place on the pommel of his dagger. I looked down, and saw that I still hand my bow out, and had an arrow onto the string. I gently released the stress that I had put onto the string, and the arrow disappeared. I willed my bow away, and sighed and slowly walked toward him. When he noticed that I no longer had my bow out, I could feel the tension in the air slowly dissipate. I gently placed my hand on his shoulder and said, "Listen Lycaon, I trust you, mostly because I know how you think. I know that you don't seek out a fight, you simply strive to protect your family. And now I consider you part of my family. So I will ask that you bring your pack into the camp borders, then we will discuss with the rest of the gods around. Know that I will defend you like you have defended them." The look on his face was one of complete shock, and before he could say anything I said, "I Perseus Achilles Jackson let Lycaon, and his pack into the camp borders to be protected by the camp." With that I spread my wings and took off towards the camp. Before I got to were anyone could see me, I hit the button for my armor, and felt the slight weight fall onto my mainstays. I smiled as I landed in the arena, and pulled out my sword to let out some of my anger. Over the next few minutes I decimated the dummies that were in the clearing. Then I felt a familiar presence behind me, and I smiled. I turned, and said, "Hello Artemis." She smiled, and pulled out her knives. "Would you like to try on a real opponent?" I nodded, because she couldn't see the smile that I held under my helmet. "Ok, but I won't be holding anything back." She said with a sly smirk on her face. I hit my wrist, and my armor disappeared, then I made it turn into a shield, and willed my silver helmet onto my head. Before she could react I charged and changed my sword into a spear. I jumped up trying to make her think that I planned on slamming the head into her. She fell for it, and lifted up her knives to block my spear. Before I landed I swept the back on my spear underneath her legs taking her legs out from under her. She fell, and rolled over her back to stand back up before I could do anything. When I landed, I made my sword turn into a sword. She charged me, and launched a flurry of slashes at me. She was coming from every direction, and I was letting her hit my shield. I hid behind it, trying to make her think that I was getting tired. I sat behind my shield for a minute. Then I noticed that her attacks were slowing slightly. I smiled. She was getting tired then I did something she didn't expect. I came out from behind my shield, and shouted, "Boo." She flinched slightly, and I used the opportunity to bring in a kick to her side sending her flying back a couple feet. She landed on her back driving the air from her lungs. As she sat there trying to get air to return to her lungs, I walked over, and gently placed my sword tip at the base of her neck. "Dead." I said, and leaned down, and offered my hand. She took it, and rode my pull up. Then she pulled my helmet up, and gave me a quick kiss. I smiled, and pulled her into a quick hug. She smiled, then let me go as she heard people walking into the arena. When she did I pulled my helmet back down, and saw that it was Ryan that walked in. I growled slightly, and I felt Artemis squeeze my tighter to let me know that she was there. I looked at her, and whispered. "Listen Artemis, he has challenged me to another dual, I will accept it, and I will send him to the underworld. I have already been given permission to do so, even by Hermes." She nodded, and whispered back. "Ok, but be careful. He has something up his sleeve. I just don't know what it is. All I'm saying is be careful." I nodded at her and wrapped her in a quick hug. Then I started walking toward Ryan. As I got closer, I noticed a faint scent. It almost smelled like Tartarus again. The closer I got, the more I realized that it was radiating off of him near his heart. I growled, as I heard a very faint voice coming from around his chest. I knew that voice, but now wasn't the time to expose him. Instead I said, "So Ryan, I heard that you wanted a rematch." I saw a cruel smile slowly come across his face. Then he turned toward me, and said, "Yes. I did want a rematch, however this time let's make it more interesting shall we?" I quickly analyzed every way that this could go, and soon realized that there was no way out of it now. So I quickly nodded, and said, "You have got yourself a deal, what kind of interesting were you thinking?" His cruel smile never left his face, then he said with satisfaction, "To the death." That was a new spin, but I was hoping for that. I nodded, and said, "Ok, but let's make this more interesting. The looser, can never return to camp." I saw him mull it over. Then slowly nodded. "Let's both swear on the Styx to abide by the agreement." I waited for him to swear, and then I swore. When both of us had taken the oath, I heard thunder rumble in the distance. I smiled under my helmet, and said, "Ok then now the only thing to decide is when and where." "Ok how about right before dinner." He said with his voice dripping with malice. "You're on." With that I turned and walked away, not wanting to reveal any of my new powers to him. I went back to my tent in front of the Artemis cabin, and laid on my bed. I heard my tent flap rip open. I looked up to see Artemis standing there in the entrance. "Percy, what were you thinking?" she whispered. That scared me more than if she had been shouting. It was because that meant that Artemis was scared. I honestly didn't know what I was thinking when I started walking toward him, but now I knew why I had to continue with this. "Artemis, at first I didn't know, but now I do. I am going to expose a traitor to everyone. Will you call the gods to camp please, I am going to reveal myself to everyone and yes that means the campers, but I want the gods to watch this fight. I also want all of the campers to watch. Do you think you could set that up for me?" She looked at me shocked as she realized that I was completely serious. She nodded, and flashed out. I slowly stood, and prepared myself mentally for what was to come. I turned into a wolf, and went to go find Lycaon. I soon found his scent, and followed it until I saw him curled up with another wolf out in the forest. I was about to walk away so I wouldn't disturb him, but before I could, I noticed his eyes were looking directly at me. He leaned over, and whispered in the other wolf's ear. He gently stood, and padded over to me. "What can I do for you Percy?" He asked almost sad. I gave him a side glance, and asked, "Who is that?" He didn't even have to look back. "She is my mate. Now what can I help you with?" "I actually need a personal favor. I need you to come to a dual, and watch for anything off. Make sure that no one tries to sneak behind me, and stab me in the back. Will you do it?" He nodded slowly, and said, "Of course what would you like me to look for?" "I wouldn't like you to look for anything I want you to smell." He growled slightly, and said, "Why do you ask me this? Why don't you ask your girlfriend to ask her wolves to do it?" I thought about it, and said, "Lycaon, I want you to do it because you are my friend, and I don't want you to be put in too much danger when you have a mate. She would be worried sick about you." He looked down, but slowly a smile spread across his face. "You know Percy. You truly are a good guy. Come here I want you to meet someone." With that he put his arm around my shoulders, and walked toward the wolf that I had seen him curled up with. When we stopped in front of her. I saw Lycaon crouch down, and gently placed a hand on her shoulders. When she opened her eyes I gasped slightly, then smiled because I recognized those eyes. "Hey . . ."
