I hadn't thought about it much before, but now that I was alone I could: I really stunk.

When I sat up and smelled what smelled like a month's worth of rotting onions, I hopped into the shower and took a proper shower. I didn't really, truly, have time to myself these past couple of days so I hadn't taken the time to shower.

Dirty- I know.

However, now that I had the time I could finally wash the grime and dirt from my hair. I couldn't believe I had actually slept in Mrs. Garcia's guest room like this. If she'd been here, she would've been beyond pissed.

In a small summary, I needed this thirty-minute shower. Every fucking second of it.

When I'd decided- no, felt like I was going to pass out- I hopped out of the shower and got ready for the day.

I hadn't thought much about what I was going to do now that I was at my actual home, I was reminded just how empty my house is. With Dan and Mom gone it was just me in this house by myself. It somehow made it seem so much bigger than I was.

The day had finally caught up to me. Or at least all the sleeping. My spot on the couch wasn't exactly putting me to sleep like it usually does. Even the Golden Girls hadn't lulled me.

For some reason, I couldn't stop thinking about Niko at the party. Especially after the last two. He never even got to the party. He didn't even step out of the car once because he was already drunk.

I could hardly believe that he was going to enjoy it. I knew Niko, that's why I let him go. He wasn't so much of a people person, which made it obvious that parties were going to be a no-go.  He was going to call me soon and beg me to come to pick him up. Just like the first time.

He was going to call me.

He was going to call me for sure.

He didn't call me.

I'd ended up actually falling asleep after two episodes of Golden Girls. When I woke up and realized this, I freaked out and checked my phone.

Absolutely no texts, phone calls, or voice-mails. Nothing. All I saw were pictures and videos of the party last night. I even spotted Niko in the background doing god knows what.

I was confused but also pleasantly surprised. For once, Niko was a big boy and did something himself.

"Niko, you goddamn asshole."

My morning alone wasn't that long, but I tried to make the most of it. I kept breakfast simple: Eggs, toast, and sausage with coffee. I cleaned up the living room and tidied up the kitchen.

That was all I could get done because at eleven a knock came. Of course, I knew who it was but I waited a couple of knocks later until they rang the doorbell.

That's when I got up and opened the door.

Do you know when I said I knew who it was? Well, I take that back, I was completely surprised to see who it was.

Peter and Mathew. Niko, is nowhere in sight.

"Peter? What the fuck is this?"

Peter ignores me as usual, but instead says bye to Mathew before walking away. I wasn't about to let him do that for the third time in a row. I am not about to let him get away.

Even though I'm saying his name and following after him, his long legs never break their stride. I don't pay attention to the fact that I'm not wearing shoes or that fact that my hair is still damp, all I can focus on is the back of his head. His dumb head.
