Julie's POV

It was nearing the end of the Molina family's stay at Julie's house, and, as everyone had decided the day before, what better way to spend a vacation than at the beach? They were going to be staying overnight at a beach house a couple of hours south of where Julie lived so they'd have a bit more of a secluded stay and the guys wouldn't have as much of a chance of being recognized.

Ray called up the stairs to tell Julie they were leaving soon, and she hung up her FaceTime with Flynn, who was in the Bahamas with her parents over break.

Julie double checked her bag for everything she would need, almost forgetting her toothbrush, of all things. When she was finally ready she hauled her belongings downstairs and out to Ray's car, helping him load it in the trunk.

Everyone else was pretty much ready, and Ian and Lydia had already left with their kids and Abuela to get to the house early. Julie wished she could be riding with Elena, who was going with her mom, brother, and Carlos, but she would've felt bad just leaving the guys to ride with her dad. Or rather, her dad to ride with the guys. Fifteen minutes later, when Reggie called shotgun and she piled into the back seat between Luke and Alex, she decided that it wouldn't be too bad.

Once they were on the road Julie held out her phone. "Okay guys I'm going to be taking all kind of pictures on this trip, so let's start with car ride selfies!"

She took one with Luke and Alex before handing the phone to Reggie, who took a few with everyone, and of course, of himself. And Ray.

For the next forty-five minutes the car was chaos, with everyone doing crazy loud karaoke, the guys arguing over different things every five minutes, and them having to stop twice so Reggie could pee. After the first hour things started to settle down, mainly because Luke and Alex were both asleep and Reggie was in a deep conversation with Ray.

Eventually they arrived at the house, Luke groggily lifting his head off Julie's shoulder. She woke Alex and they all climbed out of the car, greeting the rest of the family inside and getting ready for a day at the beach.

"Guys c'mere. Sunscreen." Julie said to the band, squeezing a glob into her hand.
