Julie's POV

"In perfect harmo- ugh!"

"In perfect harmony," she tried in a different tone, but something still wasn't quite right.

Julie sighed, writing a small note on her paper, staring at the empty verses and notes that she still needed to figure out. It really sucked that when she needed her writing partner the most, he was also the one person that she didn't want seeing the song.

"Julie you're going to be late for school!" Ray called up the stairs, and upon checking the time she realized he was right.

It wasn't until she had hurried out of the house and into the car that Julie realized she'd forgotten to say bye to her band. And with that thought a jolt of fear ran through her when she also realized she'd left perfect harmony on her bed.

If there is a day that the guys stay out of my room, she prayed, please let that be today.

Luke's POV

Luke was confused when he heard Ray's car pull out of the driveway, because he knew that Julie never left without saying goodbye. And if she had he would take personal offense.

Worried that she had missed her ride to school, he set his guitar down and poofed into the house. The main level was silent apart from the running dishwasher, so Luke yelled Julie's name up the stairs, waiting on a response.

He knew she probably had just left, but he just wanted to be sure. He poofed in front of her bedroom door, poking his head through it. Luke saw that she had headed out for school, and hurriedly at that. He was about to go back to the studio when the papers on her bed caught his eye, and, as usual, his curiosity got the best of him.

He fully phased through the door, walking across the room and leaning over her bed to peer at what she'd been working on. As he thought, it was music, but it was also something he'd definitely never seen.

Of course he didn't care if she wrote without him, he did the same, but the title 'Perfect Harmony' made him think that this song was something worthy of her dream box.
