"Are you ok?" Cane lifted my head to see if I had any visible marks. "He didn't hurt you did he?"

"No. I'm fine. He was just being creepy when you walked in. I was the one who freaked out." I buried my head in my hands. "God, I feel so stupid. I can't get over this stupid fear."

Cane pulls me into his arms and rests his chin on my head. "Hey. It's not a fear, Nova. It's trauma. And it's going to take you a long time to get over it. You may never get over it completely. That's just how it works. But you can overcome how you react to it. It'll take a while. That's fine. We will be here. You want something to eat before bed? I'll sleep on the couch if it'll make you feel better."

"No that's fine. I'll ask Sky to keep her guard up." I left to go to the room and Steven stopped me.

"Can we talk?" His voice was gruff. I nodded my head and he walked with me down the hall.

When we were out of hearing range from the others, who were walking to their rooms, he started talking.

"Are you sure you're ok?"

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just tired and ready for some rest. I'll be better in the morning." I tried to smile to reassure him, but it came out weak and didn't feel believable.

"Yeah sure. Well if you need anything.. just let me know. Please. I know you like to deal with things on your own but you don't have to anymore. We've been telling you for a while. The whole pack is here. But if you aren't ready for that much support then one of us at a time is fine.

"If you want us to keep things between us, that's fine. All of us will keep it between just you and whoever you tell. At least until you're ready for the support we're willing to give you."

He turned around and started walking back to his room. "Just be sure you aren't letting yourself get too isolated. Cause if I see you getting bad again I'm forcing my love and support on you."

I laughed and walked into my room. It felt good to have someone I could turn to. It was just a bit much sometimes. Sky needed her seclusion sometimes. She would keep me in my room until Cane would force me to go downstairs.

I walked into the closet and grabbed some clothes. I was too tired for a shower. I changed and fell into bed. I didn't even have time to cover up before I was encased in darkness.

The sky was red. It was like I was in an alternate world. The clouds flashed with lightning and the grey lit up brilliantly. Before I could look farther into the sky there was a screech.

A dragon flew above me and the wind from its wings blew my hair back. I gaped at the enormous size of it. When I turned around my heart rate picked and I froze.

Westley was standing not four feet from me. I couldn't move. It was just like before. He smiled and took a step forward.

"Well, well, well. It's so nice to see you again. I was worried you would forget who owns you." He took another step and I backed up. His voice brought back memories of dark rooms and broken bones.

"You don't own me." I could only get out a small breath of words. It was so quiet I wasn't sure he heard me.

"Who doesn't own you? I think maybe you need a refresher on who exactly you're talking to. Maybe the scene just isn't right. Should we bring you to your own personal hell?" He snapped his fingers and the world changed around us.

We were suddenly standing in the middle of my dad's living room. I stumbled back and fell. Memories of everything he did flash across my mind. He stood over me and an evil smile crossed his lips.
