Y/n's hand grazed around the grass below the tree, and slowly directed itself to the pond neatly resting beside it. All of her attention remained on the feeling of the cold water against her beautiful skin. Neteyam sat opposite her, copying her actions against the water, while scanning her alluring expressions of deep thoughts with his equally as alluring eyes. "Let's just say we both win." "But we both didn't, I did." He glanced down with a shy smile written on his face. "You cheated." "There were no rules." Y/n looked up with her piercing eyes and simpering smile, paralysing any remark he had planned. He chuckled nervously, looking anywhere but her, but with a false purpose. Noticing, y/n glided her hand through the water and rose it harshly, causing it to splash over Neteyam. Reciprocating her doing, he asked, "how are you feeling, you know, about all of this." The na'vi boy lightly flared his arms about him. "What do you mean?" "How do you feel about now living here?". Y/n looked up to somehow find the words circling above her head. "I mean, it's beautiful. It feels so right... I just feel this guilt." "Guilt?" "Yeah, like I can't remember my life but I remember some things," she laid on the ground seeing Neteyam walk over to her and sit beside her encouragingly, "but... these memories are fading, which is good I guess, but a part of me is still holding onto them." He nodded reassuringly, now laying himself next to her, propping himself up with his grazed elbow. Y/n looked him up and down and observed him licking his lips. Propping herself up also, with her un-grazed elbow, she continued, "and Kiri told me that nothing has changed for the other y/n, or my mum so I have nothing to get hung up on... especially if all my memories are now corrected and new, but I'm still me..." She trailed on, letting her tongue talk for her, while Neteyam noticed this spiral she was falling through. He stroked his hand over hers, causing her to slightly widen her eyes towards him. "You are here now," he grabbed her hand to emphasize his point, "you see... you feel my hand on yours, yours on mine." She giggled at the passion behind his voice. He placed her hand down, turning it over, with a tender look to his eye. "You like this feeling?" He drew circles on the palm of her hand, intently grounding her. Lightly biting her lip, she hummed to confirm. A mischievous look in his eyes grew faster than y/n could process, "do you like this feeling?" Suddenly pouncing on her, he began to tickle her, taking away her worries... and breath. Their laughs were heard by the beautiful forest and harmonized perfectly together, unknowingly creating a song. He gave in to her pleads, now placing his hands either side of her head. For a while they simply interpreted each other's eyes, vulnerably exploring this new feeling. A woodsprite travelled between them, falling onto y/n's face, forcing her to scrunch up her nose. Neteyam chuckled, "see, you're meant to be here! Eywa missed you." He politely nudged the woodsprite from y/n's face, allowing himself to gaze into her glassy orbs once again. Feeling this warmth in her stomach and electric in her body, y/n huffed. "What?" Before the nervous girl could answer, a voice sounded. "Neteyam! Y/n? Mother says it is dinner!" Grunting in annoyance the boy replied, "coming Lo'ak," and swiftly arose from his position, offering y/n a trusted hand. Keeping his hand in hers, Neteyam led them to Lo'ak, who y/n rightfully assumed was Neteyam's brother. Focusing on trying to hide the blush forming on her face due by Neteyam's strong grip around her hand, she missed Lo'ak raising his eyebrows and the corner of his mouth towards his brother and the returned stern look of Neteyam's.
