Summer came and went. Rosalie was disappointed that Niklaus had ruined their trip by compelling both her and her mother, but she managed to have a good summer within the borders of Mystic Falls. She spent a lot of time with her friends and when they were away on holiday, she had lots of fun with her mother. It was a beautiful summer, so beautiful that Rosalie completely forgot about Niklaus' promise. So when school was about to start, she was sad that summer was ending, but also excited for the new school year.
"Are you coming tonight?" Dana asked over the phone while Rosalie was standing in front of her closet trying to find the perfect back to school look.
"To prank night? I don't know, what if we get in trouble." Rosalie picked a pink top from her closet, but quickly threw it on the big pile on the ground next to the others.
"Oh come on."
"Mom is working, so I don't even have a car." Rosalie argued.
"I can pick you up." Rosalie bit her lip. Dana wasn't going to give up. "Christine and Amber are coming too. It'll be a girls night."
"Alright." Rosalie finally gave in.
"Great, I'll pick you up at 7"
The school hallway was completely dark. Rosalie shuddered as she looked at the so familiar hallway. Why did everything look so much scarier at night time. The four girls headed towards the gym. There they met a few others of their classmates and startet setting up.
"Attention seniors." Rosalie froze as she recognised the voice. "You have officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home."
She slowly turned around and saw Niklaus walking into the gym. He was pulling Elena behind him. Rosalie furrowed her brows as she watched the brunette try to free herself from the grip of the hybrid.
"What a shame. Let's go then before we get in trouble." Dana muttered standing up next to Rosalie. Rosalie looked through the gym and spotted Christine and Amber already by the doors.
"You two, I remember you." Niklaus was now standing right beside them.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" Dana asked looking at the man confused.
"Doesn't matter, let's get going, Dana." Rosalie tried to rush her friend to the exit.
"Not so fast, love. You, you and you stay here." He pointed at Rosalie, Dana and Chad. Then he turned to Dana. "Don't worry, I wasn't in my right head last time we met. If you could lift your foot up." Rosalie looked confused as Dana lifted her right foot in the air. Where was he going with this.
"Niklaus, please, we really don't need to be sucked into this mess. Can we just go? Please." Rosalie didn't know what he was planing, but the look in his eyes screamed chaos. Niklaus didn't acknowledged the blonde yet.
Instead he turned to Chad, "If she drops her foot, I want you to beat her to death."
"No, Klaus, you don't have to hurt anybody." Elena pulled her arm out of his grasp.
"Oh come on, love. Of course I do."
Rosalie gasped. "Please, Niklaus. She is my friend. She has nothing to do with this. Let her go please. I can take her place."
"Oh love, don't be stupid now."
Dana started losing her balance and Rosalie quickly rushed to her friends side. "Don't worry, Dana. I got you."
"Keep it up." The hybrid warned the brunette beginning to shake. Rosalie glared at the hybrid.
"Where is Stefan?" Elena asked, not seeing the necessity in helping Dana.
