Rosalie looked out at the parking lot, happy to be able to stretch her numb legs again. The building in front of them was old with a fancy facade. Students were sitting outside, enjoying the last warm days. She didn't know why they were at a university, but if it was Niklaus' plan it probably wasn't good.

"What are we doing here?" Rosalie looked at the hybrid confused.

"I know someone who knows someone who thinks a professor here might know where we can find some wolfs." The hybrid explained. Rosalie nodded slowly looking around the campus.

They walked up to a big building, inside it was cool. The thick stone walls absorbing any heat. Niklaus strode in big confident steps through the hallways, seemingly knowing exactly where to go, while Rosalie hurried to keep up. She shivered in her T-shirt and jeans combo she had been wearing for too long already and was almost glad his warm hand was radiating off heat on the small of her back.

"Hey you." Niklaus called out to some one. A boy, couldn't be older than 20, turned around and looked at the pair.

"Sorry do I know you?" He asked eyeing the strangers.

"You don't, but we're looking for Professor Williams. Do you know where I might find him?" The boy checked his phone, scrolling through a schedule.

"Ahm...sure. He should be in class right now. Auditorium 4."

"Thanks, mate."

We entered the small auditorium. Class was still in full session and Niklaus and Rosalie sat down in the back.

"See, I even offer you education." Niklaus whispered in her ear. Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"I literally would like to be anywhere else right now." She whispered back, making the hybrid grin.

Finally class was over and the students started heading out, while the professor started packing his things.

"Wait here, until I call you." Niklaus spoke as he got up. "Professor Williams? I'd like to ask you a few questions."

The man looked up unsurely, "Sure, what can I help you with? Is it relating today's lecture."

"Oh don't worry. It's regarding the werewolves you study in your free time." Niklaus was know stood in front of him.

"I don't know what you are talking about." The Professor backed a few step away, as Niklaus came closer.

"Oh come on, Professor, I'm just a curious student, with an interest in the occult." Niklaus spoke. His voice was calm and friendly, but his body language screamed something different.

"I don't think you are. I've heard of you. The hybrid looking for werewolf packs to turn. I heard what happened to the last pack you tried to turn. They are all dead." Rosalie flinched when the Professor suddenly something out of his back. She watched as he stabbed it into Niklaus' chest. She was unsure if she should step in, then again, what could she do?

She relaxed when she heard Niklaus' laugh boom through the auditorium. He pulled out the wooden object out of his chest and threw it on the ground.

"You shouldn't have done that." He grinned, then he turned around to face Rosalie. "Love, you might wanna step outside for a minute or two."

Rosalie looked at the two men conflicted. She didn't want Niklaus to hurt him, but she knew she couldn't stop him. And it's not like she enjoyed watching.

"Please don't hurt him." She said before getting up and leaving the auditorium. She sat on a bench opposite of the door and waited for Niklaus to return.

Rosalie bit her lip when the door finally opened. Niklaus came out holding a notebook, blood on his face.

"Come on. We need to go." He quickly pulled her through the hallways back to the car.

"You have a bit of your dinner still on your face." Rosalie pointed out as they arrived in the parking lot.

"That was only lunch. You could still be dinner." Niklaus smirked as he wiped off the blood. Rosalie flinched at the thought.

"Where are we headed now?" She tried to change the subject.

"A hotel. We need to freshen up. And Professor Williams has an important meeting tonight, which unfortunately he won't be able to attend anymore."

"Did you kill him?" Rosalie asked, she wasn't sure if she even wanted to know the answer.

"He's dead worth more than alive."

The hotel was modern, with light walls and high ceilings. Niklaus aimed straight for the reception pulling Rosalie behind him.

"I need a room." Rosalie wasn't sure how checking in at a hotel worked, but she was certain that is wasn't normal that the man behind the desk simply handed Niklaus a key without any further questions. Niklaus slid a hundred dollar bill across the desk. "Have my luggage be brought up, but be careful with the cooler."

He grabbed the key with one hand and the girl with the other. Rosalie and her mom had only ever stayed in cheap motels, when they traveled, so she was amazed by the room. The walls were a light creme color and they even had a balcony overlooking the pool area. The only thing that didn't sit well with Rosalie was that there was only one bed. Niklaus didn't even seem to notice, he was much to busy planing the night. Rosalie got around to the fact that she would be sleeping on the floor, or maybe on the armchair in the corner.

"I'm gonna take a shower." Rosalie excused herself and the hybrid only nodded. Inside the bathroom she was finally alone. She looked in the mirror, even though she had been sleeping a lot during the drive, there were dark circles under her eyes. She dropped her dirty clothes on the floor and stepped under the shower. Letting the hot water hit her back. It dripped off her legs, who were still numb from all this sitting. With wet hair and wrapped into the softest bathrobe she had ever worn, Rosalie left the bathroom again. She frowned when she saw Niklaus rummaging through her bag.

"Hey, what are you doing?" She yelled trying to pull the bag from the hybrid, but he simply nudged her aside.

"I'm trying to find an outfit for you for tonight. But it seems all you packed are sweatpants." Niklaus dropped the bag carelessly and the girl gasped.

"You can't just go through my bag. Have you ever heard of privacy?" Rosalie picked up her bag and stuffed the clothes the hybrid had pulled out back in.

"Love, you don't get privacy. Secrets only leave room for betrayal."

"Betrayal?" Rosalie huffed. "You want my loyalty? After you kidnapped me twice and killed my friend. That's rich."

"You should be thankful, you're still alive and breathing, love." His eyes glistened and Rosalie knew she had crossed the line. She backed away, but was soon met by the wall. Nervously she stared at the hybrid inching closer to her. She bit her lip when his hand meet her cheek, slowly caressing it. With a loud thump his other hand landed on the wall. Rosalie flinched looking at the blue eyes of the man in front of her.

"I'm not afraid of you." She claimed, but the hybrid grinned. He knew the truth. He could see it in her eyes.

"We both know, thats not true. And it's good, you know. Because fear also forces loyalty." And with that he let her go and turned around. "Get ready, we will need to go shopping before tonight."
