"So what's this color?" Viridian looked up at Ian.
After their long conversation Viridian had needed time to think so they switched things up. Viridian shifted to the side of her bed and leaned against the wall. She had folded her legs in front of her and was analyzing every color within reach. Ian had climbed up himself and folded his legs across from her. Viridian had started talking out loud about all of the designs and colors that she could now see and Ian was happy just listening to her talk.
"This is red." Ian answered pointing to the color on her quilt. "I could make you some flashcards if that would help?"
"You would do that for me?" She looked up at him sharply with a small smile growing on her mouth.
"Of course." He answered simply. Viridian had never had anyone offer to help her get through anything before. Usually they just told her whether or not she could do it.
"That's really sweet of you. Thank you." She reached up and placed a kiss on his cheek. She knew that he obviously wanted a relationship with her but Viridian wasn't sure that she could handle one what with the new lifestyle. Although, she did need someone's help now. She had to deal with things like driving and learning facial expressions and which color was which. She needed help and Ian was the only one to give it to her right now. She wasn't sure what was going to happen with the rest of her family. But that was a problem she would have to deal with later.
"Maybe I can take you to a park or a forest when we go back home." Ian hinted to her.
Viridian smiled at the slip, "Yes that would be nice but how do you even know that I'm going with you?"
"Oh I know." Ian's mouth was raised one side and it made butterflies appear in her stomach. Whatever expression this was she liked it.
Viridian laughed as she tried to cover up her blush. She'd never felt this way before because of a guy and she wasn't sure if it was because this is the first face she'd seen or if it was because she was really connecting with Ian. He seemed like he would be fun to hang out with, but she wasn't completely positive about moving across the country for him.
Ian lived in London and that meant leaving everything that she'd ever known to follow a man that she'd just met and knew way too much about her already. She wasn't sure she was ready to make that jump yet, even if it was in such an amazing city as London.
"I understand that you might be thinking that I'm crazy for asking you this right after I just met you and turned you into a vampire but I've been alive for a long time, longer than you can imagine, and I really believe that you're meant to be in my life."
"I don't know who you are but I feel something when I'm with you."
"What do you feel?"
"I feel like I can trust you." Viridian answered looking up into his eyes. "What color are your eyes?"
"They're green." Ian smiled.
"What color are mine?"
"Your eyes are a very beautiful brown." He responded.
"I'll consider going home with you." Viridian finally answered his request. "But I need some time first. Some time to think about what that means."
Ian nodded his head. "That makes completes sense. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the matter if you're willing to share them with me of course."
