When the elevator opened there were a couple of things that Viridian was expecting to see. None of which left that elevator. The vampires coming out of the elevator were like nothing she'd ever seen before and she was entranced immediately.

There were only five of them; although Ian had some there were going to be more. Sophia was first to come forward and hug Viridian. She was holding grocery bags along with shopping bags from a brightly colored store.

"Guys, come meet Viridian." Sophia waved her hand and the others stepped forward behind her.

The first one to step forward and shake Viridian's hand was tall almost 6 feet in fact. While she originally had dirty blonde hair, she had died it a slivery grey that shimmered when she moved. "Hi, I'm Evangeline Griffin but you can call me Eva." She spoke with an accent but Viridian couldn't quite place it.

Eva was something special. She was slim but had a powerful build and muscles that you could see because of her loose tank top. She had on bright red lipstick that set her lips apart from her pale skin. It seemed that Eva was all about making a statement because she even had a septum piercing in her nose. Viridian didn't even think that vampires could get piercings.

The next one to come forward was a man who was shorter than Ian. He had long curly black hair and a short beard. "I'm Oliver." He came to wrap one arm around Eva's shoulder while he shook Viridian's hand with the other.

"This is my mate." Eva explained while her arm wrapped around his waist.

"It's very nice to meet both of you." Viridian smiled brightly at them. She thought it was beautiful that these feelings still existed with vampires. She didn't know the truth but all of the myths said that they were heartless murderers that didn't care about anything. But as Viridian watched, Oliver placed a kiss on Eva's cheek and she giggled relentlessly. Viridian knew that vampires weren't heartless. They couldn't be.

"Welcome to London Greenie." The man that spoke was huge. Taller than Ian and dark hair that he kept short. He had dark eyes but there was a kindness in them. He spoke with a clear Russian accent that had Viridian wishing she had visited such an alien place. "I hope you like it here. I'm Ivan."

"It's nice to meet you but my name is Viridian." She cleared up.

"Oh I know." Ivan laughed and threw his arm over the shoulder of the last one standing.

Ian laughed and whispered in her ear, "Your name is a color, it's a type of chrome green."

"Oh, I like it." Viridian laughed as well making Ivan and Ian smile.

There was an awkward moment when everyone looked at the last woman. She was resistant to introduce herself but with a nudge from Ivan and a stern look, she stepped forward.

"Hi, I'm Nadia Okiro." She held her hand out and Viridian shook it. Nadia had beautiful dark skin that sparkled with gold although there was no direct light shining on her. Her hair was deep brown and was hanging down her back in curly ringlets. She had beautiful round cheeks and a perfect smile. Viridian couldn't help but be a little bit jealous. As soon as she was finished, she walked off down the hallway with her bags in tow.

"Sorry. She's not too keen on change." Ivan apologized and walked after her calling her name and speaking in a language that Viridian couldn't understand.

Viridian looked towards Ian who was watching them with a concerned look before looking down and throwing an arm around Viridian's waist. "Don't worry, she'll come around once she gets to know you. She doesn't trust people very easily." She nodded and Ian turned to face those who were left. "Where's everybody else?"
