"So it's worse than we thought?" Oliver asked, "What kind of spell is this?" Oliver, Ivan, and Ian were sitting in his office when the girl's returned and they explained what they'd heard.
"Wait can we start over? For the people who just arrived?" Viridian and Sophia made their way in followed by the rest of the group.
"Well the girls just got back from recon and they found what we were looking for. "
"What did they find?" Viridian sat down Indian style on the soft rug.
"There's going to be a drop somewhere in London in the next two days. The witch contacted Jane and told her the spell and potion was finished all she had to do was drink and she would have powers beyond her imagination." Rivka quoted looking annoyed.
"Wow, ok. And she's for sure planning to use those against us?" Sophia asked.
"Yea, she went on like a two minute rant about how Ian was the worst." Rivka laughed. "It was actually kind of funny, no offense."
"None taken." Ian smiled. "I just don't want you to go trying to kill me next."
"Wait for it." Rivka quipped and Ian laughed. It seemed that Rivka and Ian were slightly back to normal although there was still some tension.
"Ok so we're going to intercept the drop right? Get it before she does?"
"Yes that's the plan."
"But there's one problem." Rivka winced, "It's in the middle of the day and Jane is going to be watching as soon as it gets dark. There's no way we can get to it first. Unless we intercept it afterwards and then we'll have to deal with Jane and whoever she has with her."
"I can do it." Viridian said.
"No." Ian answered. He already knew that she would volunteer for the job.
"No I can do it!" Viridian stood up.
"Yea and I said no." Ian reiterated.
"Oh come on you're not my dad!" She yelled making Sophia laugh, "And besides I can stay outside for hours."
"Viridian you promised." Ian answered her.
"Yea but this is for the good of al of us. Come on." She crossed the room and leaned on the desk facing him. "I can do it. I'll be fine I promise." Ian stared at her, wondering if she could actually do it.
"What's going to happen to if you can't? What if the sun's too hot?" Ian lowered his voice and looked into her eyes.
"I won't." she smiled, "I promise. And this one I'll keep."
Ian chuckled and nodded, "Okay, if you really think you can do it than go for it. I'll support you from inside this dark house." His smile brightened and he raised on if her hands off the table to bring it to his lips.
"You guys are just too adorable." Sophia smiled. Ian chuckled and Viridian's face turned bright red.
"Alright well moving on." She cleared her throat and tried to forget about everyone else had just seen. "Ok so when's the drop and where?"
"It's supposed to be at noon near the Eye. But tomorrow's Saturday which is going to make this a little tricky."
"Why?"
