"Love Murders Chaos"

The chaos Eris caused calmed after few minutes. Hindi naging madali para sa kaniyang tito ang pagkausap sa pari na pinagalitan siya dahil sa katotohanan. I finally found the guy who announced the death of the woman who was just in my house for how almost a month.
He's quite old but not to the point na maputi na ang kaniyang buhok. I can see his resemblance from Eris. Just like her, he's in his black outfit—a turtleneck na may nakapatong na itim na blazer. Sa damit pa lang, I can say this guy is indeed high. Next to it is from the way he stands. Too firm. He stands so tall. Ni hindi niya nililingon ang pamangkin na piniling tumayo malayo sa kaniya.
As someone na matagal na hindi nagkita, the uncle seems unfazed.
Kahit ako ay malayo sa dalawa. Eris asked me to stay far but not too far.
"Where were you?" His voice is stern and deep. That is giving justice to what he looks like.
"I thought you're going to ask why am I still alive."
Finally, the uncle turned to her. "Why didn't you show yourself to me right away?" Eris did not speak. She kept her gaze away from the guy. "The police were looking for you! I had to tell everyone that you are dead and even sold your house just to make it look more convincing!"
Police? Why would they? I am confused.
"I am still alive," she said. "You...are not to touch any of the properties owned by my parents. It was all mine."
Umismid ang tito. Tila hindi makapaniwala sa kung paano siya umakto. "Don't you understand your situation now? You are a murderer? You just brought shame to Deveraux's name! Tell me, Eris...did you do it?"
Tuluyan ng nagsalubong ang aking kilay. What the hell am I hearing right now? Police? Murderer?
"I only came here to warn you about my house. I have nothing to discuss with you anymore." She turned her back and walked in my direction. Iba ang ekspresyon ng kaniyang mukha ngayon. She was amused earlier but now...she is empty.
Nilagpasan niya lang ako. I met the uncle's eyes dahil sinundan niya ng tingin si Eris. I saw how his brows furrowed before I turned my back and followed her back to the car. Tahimik ang pagbalik namin. Tahimik din naman kanina but now the silence is cold and uncomfortable.
Hindi man lang mawala sa aking isipan ang nadinig sa pinaguusapan ng dalawa. It bothered me until we arrived at hanggang sa mawala si Eris sa aking paningin. I was actually expecting her to explain what I just heard but I got nothing. Akala niya ba ay wala akong nadinig?
I am now with the maids at iba pang nagtatrabaho sa mansyon na ito. They enlightened me with the things I need to know; kung saan matatagpuan ang mga bagay bagay, ang kanilang trabaho, at iba pang detalye na kailangan alalahanin. It's not that hard. I think I can execute this butler thing perfectly. Nakilos naman ako sa bahay. Hindi ko lang alam ang pagiging bodyguard.
"Hijo, pwede ba akong magtanong?"
I stopped in front of the staircase. It's Mr. Antonio—ang driver ng mansyong ito. Mukhang sinundan niya ako mula sa kusina. I met all the workers just seconds ago so I am still familiar with him. "Kahit ano po."
"Nasaan si Eris netong nagdaang araw?" I cannot tell him she was in my house. That could lead to misunderstanding. Mahigpit na pinagbawal din iyon sa akin ni Eris. "Nagaalala lang kasi ako. Hindi pa kasi iyon maalam sa labas kaya hindi ko maisip ano nangyari sa kaniya..."
