"Chaos Meets Pleasure"

And...I am right.

Their relationship is not good. I can tell it from how their eyes attack one another. There is hatred.

So if this is her cousin, does that mean this is that man's daughter? I did some research about their family. There are only two Deveraux brothers. Erebus, Eris's father, and Eros, her uncle. It is kinda hard to find their pictures dahil hindi rin naman sila ganoon kaexposed sa media. So far, I have only seen Eros Deveraux. There were no photos of the rest of their family including Eris Deveraux and Hedone Deveraux.

Eris stepped closer to Hedone dahilan para mapaatras ito sandali. For some reasons, Hedone looks cautious of Eris in spite of looking fearless like her. My hand moved according to its will, it went to Eris's wrist stopping her from taking more steps. Magkatabi na kami ngayon kaya hindi siya ganoong nakikita ng mga reporter.

"Miss Deveraux!" Ang tawag ng isang reporter ang nakapagpatigil ng initang namumuo sa titigan ng dalawa. Though it is quite disrespectful, magpapasalamat pa rin ako dahil mukhang magkakaroon talaga ng away. "Miss Deveraux, this is our first time seeing you in public. Are all the allegations true?" That's a straight one.

"What allegations?" Nilingon niya ang nagsalita.

"Miss Deveraux, we got a tip that you are the prime suspect for your parents' murder case. Ano po ang masasabi niyo tungkol dito? Totoo po ba ang lahat ng pinaparatang nila sa'yo?"

"I have nothing to say. I am not obligated to explain anything. Let the police find the end of this case. Whoever killed my parents will be punished according to the law."

"Miss Deveraux, ano naman po ang masasabi niyo sa isang buwan niyong pagkawala dahilan para hindi ka makadalo sa libing ng iyong mga magulang? Is this your act of escaping from the crime you did?"

"My parents were killed inside our house, inside my room, what do you expect me to do? Stay? If I really am escaping, why am I here?" The waves of questions rushed continuously. Halatang napakarami nilang tanong kay Eris na hindi noon masagot dahil hindi ito humaharap sa media. Finally, she is now in front of them—in flesh and is answering their questions. "Please, leave my parents' graves. I am asking you nicely," sambit niya matapos sagutin ang lahat ng tanong. "I already answered your questions. Respect their rest or I will do something about this."

Mabuti na lang sapat na ang unang banta na iyon para sa mga reporters gayong kahit si Hedone ay pinapaalis na rin sila. They all left in peace. That would surely do. Marami ring sinagot na tanong si Eris. However, the only question she did not answer is...if she is the one who killed her parents. Hindi katulad ng ibang tanong hindi niya iyon sinagot nang direkta. Why? She had the chance to clear up her name. That was the opportunity. I do not understand why she missed it.

A sound of clap made me turn to Hedone. Nakangisi ito habang nakatingin sa babaeng nasa tabi ko. "Quite an act you got there, Eris! Kahit ako ay muntik mo nang mapaniwala!"

Act?

Eris let out a sigh at saka humalukipkip. "I met your father this morning. Hindi ako makapaniwalang makikita kita ngayon."

"Oh, you did? I wonder what you two talked about." Tinignan lang siya neto nang sarkastiko. Muling natawa si Hedone at naglakad papalapit sa kaniya. Before she could reach Eris, my arms raised, pinangharang ko sa kanilang dalawa. And this is the first time she looked at me. She looks impressed. "Also got yourself an amazing...protective...hot bodyguard huh?"
