YEONJUN awoke from the smell of pancakes flooding his nostrils; a soft light flooded his eyes as he slowly opened them to the familiar area. he slowly sat up, and gently rubbed his eyes to attempt to get the tiredness out of his head.

"you're awake!" a voice spoke, startling the boy awake. "gyu?" yeonjun questioned, his brows furrowing together to show is slight confusion. when did he get back to his own home? why was beomgyu here? who's cooking pancakes?

beomgyu let out a deep chuckle, "i was walking to huenings and you were passed out on the pavement. so i brought you back, you've been out for a whole day." beomgyu explained, shifting his body to the bed where yeonjun currently sat.

yeonjun furrowed his eyebrows, and suddenly every memory the male once had came flooding in at once.

soobin saying it was a mistake.

knowing soobin would never love him.

he felt the tears prickle at the side of his eyes, a light chuckle leaving his blood stained lips.

"yeonjun it's okay, i know." beomgyu gently whispered, laying his hand on the elders thigh. giving it a nice squeeze.

"how?" yeonjun whispered, dabbing under his eyes with his index finger.

"the petals are on the side of your bed, and you have blood staining the corner of your lips." beomgyu spoke, he honestly felt bad for yeonjun. he had never seen the boy look so defeated before.

"it's painful, i know." he continued, "i had it."

yeonjun's eyes widened, "tae?" he questioned, causing beomgyu to smile; his eyes crinkling as he did so.

"yeah, i fell in love with kang taehyun. i knew the possibility of him falling for me was low but i couldn't help it." beomgyu stated, standing up to go tend to the kitchen.

yeonjun followed close behind, "how did you get rid of it?" he asked in a small voice, scared of what beomgyu might say. "i didn't, i never fell out of love with taehyun; i just simply found someone i loved more in that sense." beomgyu said, a smile forming on his cheeks once again.

"huening..." yeonjun whispered, how could he have not seen it? how could he have not seen the way beomgyu looked at taehyun.

in a way, why did that make him feel jealous? why did a pit of jealousy rumble whenever beomgyu said he never fell out of love with taehyun.

yeonjun bit down onto his lower lip, and furrowed his eyebrows. "you ready to eat?" beomgyu asked, taking the pancakes off the stove.

as yeonjun was about to proceed, soobin walked into the apartment. stopping abruptly when he saw the familiar pink haired boy. he gulped down thick saliva, "hi guys." he mumbled, slipping off his shoes and sitting next to yeonjun on the counter bar.

the tension was thick, even beomgyu could tell.

"well..." beomgyu said, a light chuckle escaping his pink lips, "this is awkward." he said, averting his eyes away from the two boys. "yknow i think y'all should really talk about this." he spoke fast, grabbing a pancake and shoving it into his mouth.

"buhbye" he said as he sped walked out of the apartment; leaving the two boys sitting in the house.

"yeonjun we need to talk."
