As per recent reviews, I have decided that Volume 2 will be the last portion with the arc having a major crossover.

"Brat, I wouldn't be offering this if I wasn't. You're getting free training from the Great Sage."

"You're a great sage?"

"I've trained several S-ranks, you should be honored to learn under me."

"Pein turned into a pervert because of you."

"He's actually not. But your fan mail was impressive, maybe I have a chance with you."

"Shirou sent you fanmail about porn?"

That last question came from Lunulupae, who was watching the two bicker at each other.

Shirou choked. The fact he actually read some of the Pervy Sage's work was now coming back to bite him in the ass.

"It wasn't personal. I had to somehow get in contact with them without getting killed if I was unconscious."

"Shirou's favourite volume was about the King and the Peasant. A king, who lost his way found solace in a lowly farmer girl, who dreamt of an impossible dream. The girl reinvigorates the king's passion for his kingdom, and ignites a passion for her as well. Only for their story to end abruptly, as the king returns to his duties, and the farmer girl is left to hers. The both of them seperated by status. Don't worry, I can work on the sequel soon!"

Lunulupae turned towards Shirou with a raised eyebrow.

Shirou's dignity died a horrible death.

"If you want the sequel, just tell how you want the plot to go forward. I'll even dedicate it to my newest stu-"

A kunai flew past Jiraiya's head.

"Stop talking and train me already."

...

Three pairs of eyes stared at the floating kid.

"Huh. So, you're already an expert on chakra or prana control."

Shirou looked back with dead eyes.

The lessons so far haven't been challenging. They focused on basic techniques so far.

The Transformation Jutsu.

The technique wasn't complex by any means, projecting an image over himself to fool the enemy. It was another branch connected to his unique craft, but rather than projecting a sword he only had to make it an illusion.

Which he did.

Shirou showed his displeasure by conjuring a rain of imaginary swords on Jiraiya, mixing in a few real ones.

The man was smart.

He ran.

Next was The Clone Jutsu, another illusion-based technique.

Projection again.

Jiraiya was questioning himself when multiple Shirou's appeared, followed by three different volley directions. Of course, that included some swords. From three directions.

He ran faster this time.

The last basic technique wasn't illusion based this time.

The Substitution Jutsu.
