October 10th, It's been a week since I've tried to help understand Bob Velseb.
At this point, we had considerably become more accustomed to each other's presence, I even started to call him by his first name, and I was starting to think he wasn't such a bad guy. But that could be platonic Stockholm syndrome taking over. We would speak about him mostly, but at times he would ask about me as well. Things like, "Where did ya grow up, darlin'?" and other subjects. Most of them were random facts about human flesh. Which made me believe he used these simple little facts to intimidate his victims before he killed them. Not only that, but at times I'd notice a significant difference in his personality. However, this was only when his eyes were teal. I found this to be rather weird. A possible split personality maybe? But that doesn't explain the change in eye colors when he switches.
I walked into his room, "Hello, Bob. How are you today?" He waved slightly and then looked me up and down. Today I was wearing an oversized tan sweater and black dress pants with a brown trenchcoat. I turned around to the guard, "Say, could you unchain him today?" He looked at me with fear and sweat running down his forehead.
"Excuse me? You want me... to unchain him? No way." He backed away.
I huffed and snatched the keys, "Fine. I'll do it myself." He jumped, then went outside and locked the door behind him.
From Bob's POV:
'This therapist ain't getting any of my hints! How stupid could you be?' I watched him talk to the officer and I then looked (Y/N) up and down. I stopped at his dress pants that hugged tightly on his darlin' hips and ass. 'Well, I'll be. They showin' it all today... ain't he lookin' like a mighty fine piece of meat...'
I walked towards him playing with the keys, "Bob, turn around." He looked at me confused then it clicked and he smiled.
"Ain't ya puttin' too much faith into a killer like me?" I shrugged getting the first chain unlocked which let him move his left arm. He stared at it and moved it around almost as if it hurt him to be in those chains for so long.
"I just thought it might be easier today for you to be able to use your arms for once." I unlocked the second chain which made him completely free. He laid back and took a deep breath, smiling. I looked at him for a second and tilted my head.
He looked over at me noticing me staring at him, "Hm... Why do ya wear such darlin' things?"
I stood there with a confused look on my face. "Excuse me?"
He stood up, and at last, I finally understood how tall he really was. He completely towered over me and I'm a fairly average person. But, [ Your height ] compared to at least 6' 4... there's a big difference. His smile grew larger as he came closer to me, leaning close to my face. This was starting to piss me off,
"Listen you need to back up, I seriously don't like you getting into my personal space. I don't do the same to you, do I?"
I stepped away from him sitting down on my usual side. He stood there looking away from me and then decided to sit down. My heart was pounding like it was tearing this way out of my chest. I knew he could tell, I was taking sharp breaths. I calmed myself by squeezing my tape recorder. I turned it on and started talking.
"Bob, today we will be drawing. Do you like drawing?"
He laughed, "If I'm drawing with blood, maybe." I rolled my eyes.
"Very funny Bob. I would like you to draw something, anything. Can you do that for me?" I gave him some crayons, and he seemed to gently brush his big hand against my hand, he did so with much pleasure. He began to draw and I watched his every movement. He seemed to smile even more than he usually did. That was until I realized he was drawing him killing people and eating their flesh. But, I suppose that is still some sort of self-expression. It was very poorly drawn, and because of his big hands he could barely hold the crayon and if he did he would break it from time to time.
