"Kakashi," I mumble, opening my eyes, knowing full well that he is now inside the house without my permission. "What do you want?"
"I want to talk to you. Sorry for just barging in." I click my tongue in annoyance and sit on the bed.
"Shouldn't you be resting after your fight?" I ask. Just go away.
"Shouldn't you be as well? I heard that you are planning to go back to Anbu."
"The old man isn't here to stop me anymore. I am going to the outskirts of the village. I'll start missions that are outside the village soon."
"So, you're leaving team 7?" A huge silence resonates in the room. I love my friends, I do. But Naruto is already out on his journey with Jiraiya, Sasuke hasn't been the same since the incident and Sakura has been visiting him. I don't see them that often anymore. We've gotten distant in recent times.
"Don't try to stop me." I get up, open the door to my house, and give him a look that says, 'Get out of my house.'
"I am sorry." He says instead. I don't want to do this right now. I can just see the sadness in his eyes. What's the point of it anymore anyway?
"I am sorry I wasn't there, I am sorry I couldn't help, but I loved her, I couldn't be there when it happened. I am sorry. It's okay if you don't want to forgive me but why take it out on Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto? They are your friends." You don't understand.
"Its... Not just about the relation between you and me anymore. The Akatsuki... They are after me and Naruto. I've only made it worse by revealing my Sharingan. Naruto is with Jiraiya so he'll be safe but, I don't have anyone to count on. It's not that I need anyone but, I don't know when they'll show up again. If I stick around Sasuke and Sakura they'll be caught up in this mess and I can't let it happen. So I'm leaving Team 7."
"Are you sure?" "Yes."
"Fine, I won't bother you anymore. Stay safe, Miyuki." He walks out of my house. I let out a sigh, slumping back on my bed.
Although to my luck, I am interrupted, again.
"What?!"
"Danzo wishes to see you." I look up to see a familiar mask. I can tell by their chakra that they were one of my subordinates from my time in Anbu. Danzu wants to see me huh? I didn't think the time would come so early but now that it has I won't run away from it.
"Fine, let's go Kichirou," I smirk at the boy who in return flicks the side of my head.
"Don't call me by name dumbass, I'm on duty." We start walking, slowly, my stubborn self wanting to keep Danzo waiting for as long as possible.
"Did you join the ROOT?" I ask Kichirou, hoping for a no.
"I didn't, although Danzo has been nagging me to do it."
"Well don't do it if you don't want to, ignore him."
"You left the Anbu before meeting him Yaeko, it's not that easy with this guy. He uses any means possible to get what he wants." You have no idea how clearly I understand that. "And now with Lord Hokage gone, he is trying to get as many Anbu's to ROOT as possible, this was not the right time to join the Anbu back, Yaeko."
"Is that why he asked you to bring me to him? So he could try to force me to join his little organization. He's so annoying."
"Listen, Danzo is the type of guy who won't take no for an answer. So just be careful okay?" He says as we stop in front of the Root's organization facility.
"This is as far as I can take you, goodbye."
"Stay here, Kichirou. I'll be right back." I say before walking into the facility.
