Chapter 7

"Yaeko Natsume, you are hereby relieved of your duties as an Anbu, and instead I am going to give you a new position. You are now a genin." Third Hokage said-
"Say what old man?! I can't be a genin, they have stupid missions. First, you get Kakashi and now me?! What did I ever do to you?"

"Yaeko you need to make friends, of your age at least, being a genin would be good for you."
"You made Kakashi a jonin, then why are you making me a genin? At least make me a chunin! Come on work with me here old man!"

He got an irk mark on his face. "You are going to be in a team of genins, you will become a chunin when you take the exams with them and pass. And also, try calling me third Hokage or lord third every once in a while."

After this, I knew there was no point in arguing, "Fine, but you owe me one. What team am I on anyway?"
"Team 7, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and their sensei Kakashi."

I see, Kakashi, the nine tails jinchuriki, and an Uchiha. I don't get why he put me in that team though, no one, not even the third hokage knew about my sharingan. I hardly use Sharingan on missions, and even when I do, no one notices it since it's hidden behind my Anbu mask. So as far as they are concerned, Sasuke is the last surviving Uchiha.

"Alright, I'll go introduce myself to them. See ya, old man lord third." I wave at him and go to Ichiraku ramen. I buy two ramen cups, one for lunch and one for dinner. I put them in a bag and proceeded towards the training grounds to meet my team.

When I reached there I hid behind a tree and concealed my chakra so Kakashi wouldn't notice. I saw a pink-haired girl, Sakura Haruno, a boy with a blue T-shirt that had a Uchiha symbol on his back, Sasuke Uchiha, and a guy tied to a post, probably Naruto Uzumaki. I saw Kakashi lecturing them so I thought I should have some fun.

I slowly sneak up on him and kick him into a tree, "Hey Kakashi Sensei, how's it going!"

"Woah!" I heard Naruto say, "How did you do that?"
Everyone looked at me in shock, "You mean how I kicked him into a tree? Well you see-"
"Yaeko, what are you doing here? And what's with the Sensei all of a sudden?" Kakashi asked, getting back up.

"The Hokage sent me. He said that I was the new member of team 7." I stated simply.

"A new member?" Sasuke asks glaring at me.

"I see. The Hokage asked me to train you a couple of days ago, I said I won't be able to if I am in the team, so makes sense that he sent you. You should probably introduce yourself."

"He's talking about your likes, dislikes, hobbies, your dreams, stuff like that," Sakura informs me.

"My name is Yaeko Natsume. I like training and spending time in the hot springs. I don't dislike anything in particular, hobbies- uh don't have any and I don't have a dream either I guess."

'Lies, lies.' I thought to myself. Yaeko Natsume, an alias I took for myself after I got to the leaf village. Everything people know about me here is a lie.

~ Flashback ~

I woke up in a hospital. I saw a nurse and two people sitting in the chairs beside me. One was an old man and the other was the guy with silver hair and a blue mask, I think he's the one who got me here.

The old man walked up to me, "Hello, I am the third hokage of the hidden leaf village. Can you tell me what your name is?" He asked in a kind voice. I thought about telling him, but if Orochimaru finds out that I am here he might come after me, I looked at them, both waiting for an answer.

"Yaeko Natsume." I lied. Just as the silver-haired guy was about to ask me something the nurse came up and said "Now, she had some severe injuries near her head so there is a possibility that she might not remember much so go easy on her. Tell me Yaeko, do you remember anything?"
