Percy sighed and looked at the panicking faces of the Council. "What is the story behind the Pearl? I just know that the Pearl is very dangerous. It can wipe out us Gods once and for all." Poseidon nodded gravely.

"Yes, my son you are correct. This pearl is really very dangerous in the wrong hands. when the creator, Lord Chaos created this world with the help of Lady Order, they created something that is lethal for everyone. for every species he made. he even made the Pearl, lethal to us Gods. The one who bears the Pearl will have a power greater than us gods, it has the power to either work for our good, as well as at the same time it can be used as a weapon against us. What really matters is the intention of the bearer." Poseidon explained.

"It was hidden though, by lady Order at least a millennia or two, to maintain the balance of the power. the ring holds the power to make the bearer almost invincible by the Gods. it makes them super powerful. We will be like normal mortals in front of them, beings that they can stomp on anytime." Hades explained.

"whoa. That’s bad." that’s all Percy could muster at that time. "all I need to say that I need some time to get used to this sudden God. And that too an olympian thing. Do you think its really easy? Give me some time. That’s all I want."

Percy still remembered the time when his father had flashed him to his palace, underwater, where the time runs faster, so he was taught the basics of being a God. And Percy being a quick learner had been able to learn everything very quickly and catch on with how to use his powers. In his father's  realm, time runs slower. Half day on the surface will be 2 days underwater. Cool right?

And it was there only that he was made aware of the fact that he was not only a God, but an Olympian at that. Percy still remembered that time  when he was first allowed to sit on his throne. He had felt so much power rushing to him that his body had started to smoke and he had experienced a serious headache that had las ted for at least an hour, but when he got over that initial rush of power, then he could definitely say that sitting on his fluffy throne was one if the greatest things he had ever felt. It felt really good. Like he could do anything he wanted to do.

He had shaken it off, the feeling of that pleasure and was reminded that he still needed to go to London. That’s what scared him the most. He couldn’t control his creature no matter how much he tried. Whenever he saw blood he would go all crazy and try to suck that person, or God alive. His hunger kept growing with time, and he had talked to Hecate regarding it and she had told him that it was only the blood of his mates that could help him.
Percy being Percy didn’t want to hurt his mates in any form, no matter how much Hecate insisted that helping feed his vampire, his mates would feel pleasured, not hurt in any form.

Over time , Hecate herself gave up trying to convince her, knowing that it was of no use. It was like banging her head against the stone wall, as the mortals said.  The boy was just way too stubborn.
